All the opinions expressed here are reasonable, and IMO, correct. Mayweather is superior to Marquez in nearly every aspect of the game. He is also superior to Pac in most aspects of the sport. However, it is evident to all but his most deluded fans that, for whatever reason, he fears Pac. On paper, this should be a win for Mayweather, who would be facing a fighter whose first title came at 112 rather than Floyd's 130. But even leaving size out of it, Floyd has most of the 'boxing' advantages as well. Better technique, better defence, better counterpuncher, maybe marginally faster. And yet, Floyd has ducked him. Twice, now. And that mental edge (fear), combined with Pac's superior mental toughness might be enough to even the odds here. As to the thread question, what can you say about Floyd here ? He lured JMM in with a catchweight and then, flippantly and flagrantly disregarded the promised weight, paying a token fee as a cost of doing business. That he did not use his massive size advantage in the JMM fight is scarcely the point. The size was there and was therefore a psychological factor. Was it a good win ? If we look at the skills Floyd put on display, then yes. Was the fight significant ? No, it was a rather meaningless affair which did little to enhance Floyd's legacy.
According to who?you?are you a member of team fraud?the guy says hes taking a couple of years from boxing and that he isnt thinking about the sport and somehow you think the fight isnt happening cause of drug testing.
The drug testing is all the *****s have right now. If you take that away they'll have nothing left to hold on to. They'll then have to accept Floyd is a fraud.*
Drugs have nothing to with this. Not last time (January) and certainly not this time. Despite being the technically superior fighter, Floyd fears Pac and has ducked him twice. Fact.
Your fraud boyfriend needs to sign the contract first Before your boyfriends request for osdt can be started. Instead he went duck hunting..covering it as a vacation.
If you think Mayweather is mentally weak and is scared of Pacquiao, that's your opinion. However, I don't think that's the case at all.
I don't think Floyd is mentally weak and have not said that. Mental toughness is an area where Pac has an edge over Floyd. That doesn't make Floyd mentally weak, any more than Floyd's slight speed edge makes Pac slow. I do, however, believe that Floyd fears Pac. That is the only explanation for the two ducks.
I think you're viewpoint on the matter is clouded by bias, but that's to be expected. I have seen nothing to suggest that Pacquiao is mentally stronger than Mayweather(Isn't Pacquaio the one who claims he couldn't take a blood test because it mentally affects him?).
Anybody who thinks this win is a great win for Floyd is a blind fukk, if Floyd wanted this win to mean greatness he should have taken the fight at 140 and even out the playing feild a bit, but in this case that didnt happen, he brough marquez up to a weight he had no business at, as was the case with the hatton fight as well, while Manny fought Marquez twice at Juans best fighting weight and destroyed Hatton at his best weight....
And why would that be , Reg ? I have given Floyd his due here. I'm not even certain who I would pick if this fight were to come off. Very possibly, Floyd. The fact that he was willing to face Floyd but not vice versa.
I most definately dissagree with this assesment. Anyway, I have no idea why so many people want it both ways. How can you say Mayweather is scared of Pacquiao and not as mentally tough, but then turn around and pick Mayweather? That doesn't make sense. I am 100% positive that Mayweather has more confidence in himself than anyone on this forum does. So if most are picking him to win, you better believe he's 100% certain that he would beat Pacquiao. Now you may ask why hasn't the fight come off yet. I don't have an answer for this. There is a lot that goes on behind closed doors that we don't know about. What I'm almost 100% certain of though, is that Mayweather has no reservations about fighting Pacquiao.
