According to Martinez's manager, this fight is all but a done deal. It looks like it will go down Oct. 2 in Atlantic City. (taken from the General)

Great news probably one of the top 5 fights that could be made in boxing.

Great news. Couldn't think of a better fight for Martinez. The chance to overturn a wrong decision and beat a p4p ranked fighter. Top 5 p4p for me if he does win

There was just that 1 ****ed up card that had it for Williams 8-2 or something. I had for it Martinez by 1 but could have gone either way. Would love to see a rematch :bbb

The scene says that Pirog-Martinez is possible if the Williams fight doesn't happen :huh

I love this fight but to be honest I think id prefer it at 154. Think its both fighters prime weight.

ya I think I remember some qoute like that.
Also 154 is a hotter division for guys fighting in the US. The MW scene is going to be europe for a little while with Pirog,Golovkin,Njikam, sturm etc

Thats a good fight I think, Pirog has seperated himself from the rest of the prospects by winning on Satuday. Outside of him and Williams, there's nobody in a better position at the moment really. Pavlik doesn't want the rematch, the 2 lads in Germany aint goin anywhere.

154 used to BE middleweight. The JMW division is useless, they should just
    merge them.

Get it on at 154 and it become for the Ring 154 title AND the Ring 160 title!
