If all goes to plan, a fight with Kali Meehan would be a great spectacle down the line for Aussie fight fans.

No not yet mate....if he beats Beck and Williams he will be on the way to the first 2 guys but still a long way off Tua IMO.

However the HW division is the best division to move quickly....Alex may get his shot sooner rather than later if he wins these 3 big fights :good

He's doing everything as far as management goes done his homework and learnt his trade against everyone in aus take on a few fringe contenders and the next step should be overseas, with a decent record and ranking, would say exposure would be his best bet too.

I read in todays Daily Telegraph Jamie Myer said that he was looking at bringing in some Americans and Englishmen to spar with Leapai. Is there any truth to that ippy or is it just the Telegraph talking **** ?

Mate I know his team are exploring every available opportunity to do this, but it's a matter of getting something to fit for all involved.

No disrespect to Colin but i can't see the point in Alex sparring him when imo Stamina issues are the only thing holding Alex back . obviously i ain't seen things behind closed doors but Col is a slugger (an old one at that ) how many rounds were sparred and within what sort of time scale (break wise ) ?

Dont worry about Col mate...he knows his way around the ring and he can box, move and counter

Col did 3 rounds with Alex then Col took a break while another guy jumped in for 2 rounds then Col back for 2 more and the other guy finished off....8 rounds in all...30 second breaks

End of the week Alex will be doing 10 rounds against 2 guys....one round in one round rest....Alex will do 10 straight with 30 second breaks while the other 2 guys have every second round off

Who's worrying ? i simply asked a question regarding what TYPE of sparring session he gave Alex and was pleased that you answered in the positive , Alex imo needs to concentrate on gaining the ability to slug it out longer than 4 rounds and you sound like he is well on course in reaching that target . :good
