Remember I had Toney 116-112 against Jirov. Toney can counterpunch!

My scorecard for Toney was massively controversial. I felt Jirovs volume was enough to snatch some rounds, even in the sloppy manner he applied it with. I genuinely had it 114-113 Toney, though I wouldn't argue with Toneys much cleaner punching making it wider than that.

    The 12th round is immense!!!

His best round by far. Being told he needs to drop him and does it like that is nice.

    Did some catching up today

Jorge Linares/Rocky Juarez - once Linares gets into his rhythm he boxes beautifully. Juarez is done at this level now, don't really want to see him on PPV undercards.

Dmitry Pirog/Daniel Jacobs - Pirog looked good, very unpredictable. Jacobs clearly wasn't given the learning fights. If you have a tough time with Ishe Smith then you need a few more fights at that level before fighting for a title.

Juan Manuel Marquez/Juan Diaz II - Classyperformance from Marquez, Dinamita is back!! (he never went away tbh, only some thought he was done after the Floyd fight). Not sure where Diaz goes from here though.

Alfredo Angulo/Joachim Alcine - Even if you don't rate him Angulo he always entertains. With his style and power he can make some noise in the division but we know why Shaw is keeping him away from Dzinziruk

Denis Lebedev/Alexander Alexeev - Lebedev is going to do Huck. He's relentless with that straight left, just kept pinging it over and messed Alexeev up. The knockout punch was brutal, Alexeev tried getting up about 4 times and each time his legs failed him.

    Greg,

My discs arrived today. Thanks. Looking forward to getting stuck in. Calzaghe/Hopkins first:lol: Haven't actually watched it back since. Some great stuff there though:good

NB: We have house numbers here in England...;0) The postie was wandering round looking lost. Good job somebody was out the front mowing the lawn otherwise you'd have got them back again!

Check out Toney vs. Littles. That's when everyone realised JT was the truth, walking Littles down with one eye.
