The goal is to stop them from using it during training as well as stop them from using whatever on fight night.

You would be allowing the person to use whatever he wants with the hope that he would get caught after the fight is over but the damage would be done already. So what if they turn the fight into a no contest because he got caught. One of the fighters still had to go through those punches. If its a battle they may not be the same fighter after the fight. There career, life, post career are all at even more risk then the huge risk they are already taking.

This is a brutal sport already, If there is an opportunity to create the most secure route to ensure that lives aren't at even more risk then they already are then they should do it to the fullest extent. Stop them from even attempting to cheat.

 

it's only been a year.....:rofl PAC will fight other fighters outside of Top Rank if if makes sense for him to do so. Like Floyd makes sense and he did everything he could to get Floyd in the ring but Floyd don't want to fight. Of course it's easier to make a fight within your own stable and that means more money for those fighters. But top rank fighters fight other fighters under different promotional companies all the time.

I understand that it's a derterment factor with testing but it's not 100% and it doesn't deter everyone....especially those who have the resources to dope and beat any tests. Floyd and Manny are two of those kinds of athletes wtih unlimited resources.

I'm not allowing anyone to do anything illegal. For those who do dope and get caught...they are caught under the current testing measures....there are actually LESS dopers caught in the olympics or any other global and domestic athletic competitions that are under the WADA or USADA testing protocol. Most of the ones they catch are caught with THC in their system and less than a percent are acutally caught with PEDs, Roids or HGH.

Chances are if they are doping already they will be doping regardless and NO tests are going to catch that. But Floyd and Manny are two of the cleanest fighters inside and outside of the sport. Neither one is doping.

Floyd isn't suppose to be concerned with Manny b/c he's not on his level and is all HYPE. that's from Floyd's mouth. If that is the case his demands and allegations hold no validity.

This is a risky business regardless of doping or using illegal substances to get an edge, but fighters FIGHT and they go in knowing there are risk involved. Chances are Floyd has already faced those who doped.....Manny too, so have many other fighters. That's their job....So do it...Worrying about measures in place for the protection of the fighter is the commissions job.

 

JMM is already old...he's been on the slide since the 1st diaz fight. It's more money for the fighters too if it's kept inhouse for obvious reasons.

Manny can fight almost anyone from 140 to 154 if he liked. It's who makes the most sense overall. And since Floyd is on vacation Marg is the next best option for Manny. He's a high risk but offers a lot of financial reward.

Fighters are tested...and fighters are currently CAUGTH with the present tests in place. Fighters fight and the commissions within each state are repsonsible for the safety and regulations for the fight and its fighters.

Get in the ring and lace the **** up if you are a boxer or fighter....stop being a puss and using vacation as an excuse.

 

Manny agreed to testing but did not want it to go overboard which I think he has a right to request a 2 week cut off date... especially if he feels this will have an effect on him during both training and the fight.

Sure he cheated on his wife whats that got to do with it? I am sure your boyfriend has some dirt as well... and is also known for being a woman beater...

Lets just be ****ing real the fight isnt happening cus Floyd doesnt want it to happen, thats today, thats right now, when Floyd is confident enough in himself he will take the fight.

It's not that he wouldn't fight Cotto....the "Sell" of fighting Cotto again after the first fight would be a lot harder than with Marg since Marg beat Cotto and PAC hasn't faced him yet.

Nah...it's only fishy that Floyd has switched things up so much that it's completely out of his character. Of course there should always be testing and there are. The more in depth the better but it has to be a boxing wide tansition where it's not only for certian guys or certian fighters. And that's the way it is right now. Just b/c Shane wasn't caught doesn't mean there was NO evidence to support the allegations. After all CONTE was in the mix and he was under investigation so there was a VALID and RELIABLE source puting Shane under the spot light.

NOT the case with how Floyd and his team created the rumors and demands against Manny.

As long as Manny Congroidsman PacGwire continues to duck and evade a RANDOM (i.e. no cut off date) blood test like the H1N1 swine flu, then there will be no fight. It's that simple. Money has options, PacGwire doesn't.
