That's funny, an old ****er who grew up during the Cold War with the Soviet Union being the enemy, wanting to discredit a Soviet fighter.

 

Pretty much... you should throw in Manny Steward being furious with Wlad too.. he usually starts saying "this is bad, real bad" by about round 6.

He'd just witnessed one of, if not the, worst world title fights of all time. I think his anger is understandable. You probably don't agree, you probably list Wlad-Iggy as one of the best fights ever.

 

To believe Primo Carnera, a lumbering oath with more in common with Valuev than any other current fighter, would stand any chance of beating Klitschko is ****ing lunacy.

You don't have to like the Klitschkos, but when you actively campaign against anyone who does like this, expect to be pointed at with things such as prejudice and race.

Yeah it's funny, Manny Steward gets ****ing furious with Wlad. He's got the best seat in the house, it's like Lewis-Tyson, but every fight, against worse, slow, less dangerous opposition. With Lewis-Tyson, Manny was afraid Tyson might land something so wanted Lewis to take him out, with Wlad's opponents, there isn't even that danger - "Fat" Eddie Chambers couldn't crack an egg, and Wlad stunk it out, Manny was absolutely fuming.. "this is bad, this is real bad."
