The Chael Sonnen dismantling A. Silva express!!!

I find myself cheering for him now.

 

I can't stand Sonnen, the guy is a disrespectful *******. How he thinks he can talk **** about fighters like Fedor, Cro Cop and The Nogueira brothers is beyond me, all of these guys are on a different stratosphere to him. It's going to be good seeing Silva annihilate him.

I'm a bit torn on this one. While I think it's a low blow to bring the Nogs, Muay Thai and BJJ into it, deep down I want Sonnen to bring the MW home to the states. As personal as the trash talk gets It's hard for me to root against the American in most cases. I'm also a big fan of fighters with wrestling backrounds. I like Silva, but want to seem him in a competitive fight more than anything.

Hopefully Sonnen can take a beating and also fight a way to win on Saturday.

 

I usually disagree on your predictions Chimba but I think Sonnen can also pull it off, I'll even pick Sonnen in the prediction contest, I think he will chase Anderson down and bring him down at will, and I'm sure he has been working on his sub defense. I actually think Anderson might be a bit nrvous about this one because he will be in a fight and this won't be another pose fest for him.

 

I don't think Sonnen getting him down will be the biggest prob it's Silva is very good off his back as well and a sub from Silva I think is the likely way he will win.

After 3 of 4 of Anderson's lasts fights I hope Sonnen beats him just like he says he will. Of course saying that and beating Anderson is 2 different things.

 

I find the guy hilarious, and after his last 2 fights I don't see why he doesn't have a good chance. The man is very confident there's no doubt in his mind that he can win and going against Anderson that is important so guys don't shy away from a fight.

Sonnen will not shy away he will go out on his shield if he loses.

 

In a matter of days Sonnen will turn Silva into [UFC] Gold.

 

I still hope this happens, but I have a feeling with all of the **** Chael has been talking that Silva will handle himself more accordingly in this fight. We will see the Silva that should be fighting every time he goes into the octagon.

 

He certainly is funny.

He has a great sense of walking a fine line of not taking himself too seriously so that it looks stupid like Diego Sanchez or Ken Shamrock, or cheesy and fake like Frank Shamrock.

 

After UFC 117 a lot of posters are going to be shaking their heads in disbelief.

"Ughhh...I thought Chael Sonnen could beat Anderson Silva? What was I thinking?!"
