Do you think Shane Mosley will ever hold a "world" title again?

    Simple enough question.

And I am kinda assuming he will beat Mora, and wondering if a possible belt shot will come after it.

    Thoughts?

    I very much doubt it.

I don't think he'll get another title. He looked shot in Vegas and couldn't let his hands go and the competition on and around his weight class is extremely good. He should call it a day.

I'm picking Mora by decision incidentally as it's a bad style match up for Shane.

To be honest I am surprised that no title is on the line for the Mora fight. Knowing the WBA I thought they would give the fight an interim title, or a stupid WBO silver belt.

Yea now that I think about it me too.

With all the bull**** interm/silver/diamand etc seeming to be going on worse than ever I am surprised no body coughed up a bs belt for sugar.

But I figure if Mosley Ko's Mora, it will have to lead to some sort of trinket. I honestly would like to See Cotto vs Mosley II, even if the outcome is the same as the first.

Why not The WBA and IBF at 147 are held by unknown and obscure Euros not to say they suck but are they really as good as Moseley but Shane would never fight these guys cause he is looking for a pay day not a cheap belt

I actually think Shane at 154 would have a chance to beat the winer of Pac Margo

He already beat Margo and I think shane is a more dangerous match up for manny than he was for floyd

Maybe so, but even IF Shane is more dangerous to Pac, I'm positive Pac would still Massacre this version of Sugar.

No i believe the WBA vacated the title because Mosley lost.

As for the topic at hand, I think Mosley could still beat a Berto and thus win a belt, but i actually think that getting past Mora first will be more difficult for him.

there are plenty of 'world titles' nowadays, so I would actually be surprised if he can't get a 'weak' one.

    Thats true, WBA wasn't it?

I thought they would have stripped him of the title...I mean, he was pretty inactive before the Mayweather bout.

On the subject of Mosley fighting Mora, I'm really surprised at how many people think Mora is gonna win, or keep it a really close fight.

Maybe I'm underestimating Sergio but I feel even Sugar at this point would be too much for Sergio at ANY point in his career.
