I don't think Murray has done it the hard way. He has picked up the British and European in vacant title fights. he has has 5 fights at low British level thats all.

enzo, cleverly, brook, jennings, oleguseun, murray and linsday all on eliminators before the end of the year.

Peterson isnt ranked by the WBC although he will soon be WBA and WBO number 1 contender.

I don't think Murray has done anything the hard way. The level of his opposition has been very, very low. He lost to an ice cream man a few years ago yet was gifted the decision. In his last fight he fought Gary Buckland, who isn't even in the mix for domestic titles. Murray was offered chances to break out and he turned them down. After Prescott KO'd Khan, Murray was given the chance to fight Prescott but they rejected it. After Khan beat Kotelnik, Warren offered him Khan, but they didn't even bother to respond. Instead of fighting Buckland he was offered a fight against an American undefeated big name, which would go out on Showtime in USA, but he turned it down.

Yet I constantly read his comments in boxing monthly etc about how he gets no respect and gets no paydays. He only has himself to blame because every big opportunity that has arose for him he's rejected. He's a joke.

Well done to Mick Henessey, Britains greatest promotor. Getting Murray a fight he fully deserves.

Excellent. Murray needs this chance. About time guys take step ups and put themself in danger. These guys are getting moved so slowly to the title. Eliminator then title shot, lets see it.

thought he was fighting on the 25th sept, will this be the eliminater? or will this date be shelved, as it may put his eliminater at risk.:?

Soto switches off a lot in fights but if someone keeps constant pressure on him he is a different animal all together smashing fighter when he turns up, still a very good operator when he is in cruise control. Tough route to go but so are all the lightweight ones at the minute. Just read his voluntary is Antillion remember the hype he got for Pac sparring could be a tough fight.

Estrada from what i remember is very awkward fighter with power, seems to like a fire fight and eats a lot of punches. Tough fight for Murray maybe the IBF route would be a lot more straight forward for him as well.
