Who's win over Malignaggi was more impressive?

    I know Paulie was 'cherrypicked' vs. khan but i thought Khan showed how much he had matured as a fighter that night by working very effectively behind the jab and breaking down his opponent. Malignaggi at no time looked like he could possibly win which was very good. But Hatton's win was better in my mind. Malignaggi was more of a threat against Hatton as his speed was meant to cause Hatton problems all night long. Against khan he was probably the slower man so he had no obvious physical advantages. Plus Malignaggi was a more confident opponent vs Hatton but hatton just kept pressurising him and used a great variety of punches to end it. One of his greatest wins in my view

    Nope. Khan overdoes both imo.

    What did Hatton's fight prove? Hatton just outmuscled someone with zero power. Same with Cotto.

    The one thing Khan did prove is that he could outbox the boxer and beat him at his own game. It proved Khan has A grade boxing ability.

    Neither was impressive as ive never rated Paulie at all.

    Would say Hatton if I had to though as there was some laughable "His speed will give Ricky fits" type comments before hand.

    Hmm, although I love Paulie (yep homo) I don't think either win was that good. Hatton had beaten fighters on Paulie's level before, but he beat him in a fashion we weren't expecting. Plus a lot of people tipped Paulie to win. However, Paulie was on a run of poor performances under McGirt. Khan had everything to beat Paulie. Paulie relies on his speed and jab, if you are faster and have a better jab, like Khan does, then Paulie doesn't really have much else to bring. However, Paulie had come off two good performances against Diaz.

    I'm leaning towards Hatton.

    Paulie gave up after the 1st round against Hatton, but he was competive for about 3 or 4 rounds against khan however paulie could have carried on against hatton but the stoppage against khan was more legit IMHO so its hard to decide

    Khans probably. I never felt Paulie even had the tools, style wise, to give even a sub par Hatton a decent argument.

    Pretty much it.

    It's alright being quick but being hittable against Hatton is asking for trouble, especially when you've got **** all to fire back with :yep

    If only the bookies were so generous every week :-(

    I remember both those days, got great odds on Pac, Floyd against Hatton.

    Hatton's odds shrunk quite a bit, I remember Floyd was around 1.57 close to the fight.
