One of my best friends is possibly the biggest Hopkins fan on the planet. He recently passed away at 30 years old. He was an orphan who endured a difficult life. He grew up on the streets of Philly and was a die hard b-hop fan. I just wondering if there was any way to get a message to Bernard to possibly shoot an autograph over for this project I'm working on in his memory. I'd pay of course. Anyone help me here? Thank you. Nick Colin
Try contacting Golden Boy Promotions and try to get your story out to anyone who'll listen. It might just make it to Bhops hands.
hit him up on his facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100000517577717&ref=ts He seems decent enough to do something like that. good luck. sorry to hear about your friend.
Glass Jaw I'm being serious dude. I have no idea how to contact these kind of people, but it would mean something... and I'm trying to come thru, if anything for the moral of his closest friends
Thats most likely fake. The truth is you can't. There's no way of just getting in touch with him. You could send a letter to GBP but I very much doubt it would reach him.
bhop did bring a make-a-wish kid to the calzaghe fight...too bad he didnt do more in the fight and fight with the kids spirit....
add one of the lesser known or less popular fighters on facebook such as gato figueroa or even hopkins' assistant trainer john david jackson.
I suggest you PM Rumseld here at ESB. He has tracked down a lot of these fighters for his radio show, and he recently interviewed BHop. Good luck.
