Could go 1 of 2 ways, Pacquaio schools and beats him up for 12 rounds or Kirkland lands some bombs and takes Manny out, a 154lb puncher may be too much for the little man, maybe not though

Kirkland hasn't fought someone that hits as strong as him or is as explosive as him. Julio gave him too much respect and he didn't do that bad actually. Kirkland is very strong, but I think fights more on instinct. I think even Pacman has a better defense than him and is 2 levels above Kirkland. I think Kirkland would just bullrush Manny and miss wild shots and get tagged like he's never been tagged before. Kirkland has never really been in danger of going down and this is a fight where that would be a strong possibility. He does have a puncher's chance, but like Berto, don't have much skill. Speaking about Berto, I'd rather see Kirkland vs. Berto. That fight would be packin serious, serious dynamite and heads will be rolling. Berto has experience fighting much bigger guys than himself, and not just any fighters, but top notch fighters, so I'd probably pick him to over Kirkland. Pac fearlessly, but cautiously schools Kirkland. Floyd would do the same. Basically anyone with a good defense and with great counterpunching ability will beat Kirkland.

Marg and James have a shot....it's just not looking very good for them considering the level they are at compared to where Manny is. Both are challenges but I think they lack the tools necessary to combat all the weapons Manny has in abundance of.

I absolutely think Manny will dominate James from "ding to dong". He may not get a one punch KO but it will look similar to how Manny dominated Cotto. Just out classed, out sped and out fought.....I see the same outcome for James that Cotto suffered when he faced Manny.

James can definitly fight but he's still very raw......he's great condition wise and has a lot of power....but he's easily hit....not really a DYNAMIC fighter in terms of how many "layers" he works with....but he's a bull dozer...That kind of style is all wrong if he wants to face someone like PAC. I see it as pretty easy work for Manny.

I see a lot of potential in James but his fights showed SO MANY defensive holes and bad habits that any top level and experience pro would expose. His power give him a punchers chance against anyone which is why he's dangerous.

Kirkland destroys him, not trying to be a hater, but I see no way Manny could stand toe to toe with this cat for 12 rounds. He may have early success simlilar to how Cotto was doing well against Tony in the first half of the fight, but eventually Kirkland walks him down and overwhelms him with power. I think Kirklands power is superior to Manny's power, and I just can't see Manny taking the shots Kirklands going to be throwing. I also think Kirkland is tougher and more aggressive naturally. I just really, can't see Manny winning this fight.

I actually agree.....I'm basing my assumption on the chances of Manny actually moving up effectively to Jr MW like I hope. It could be too much for Manny. Everyone has a limit and it's amazing Light weight wasn't that "wall" in the case of PAC. I do think 154 is the absolute limit for Manny. And time will tell how his body takes to the new weight and anther new division.

I don't disagree with what you list as flaws, but I feel like your overestimate Manny's power in terms of backing James off, he is going to press Manny in a way that he's never been pressed. I like Cotto, I really do, but he doesn't have near the violent type power Kirkland does. He is a violent man, and he would eat more of Manny's shots than Cotto did, just to give his, and I just can't fathom Manny taking Kirklands best.

I dont think this fight would happen because of the same factors that has stop Mosley from getting a fight with Manny. Kirkland has shown very good whiskers, good speed and power. Then you toss in the never say die attitude and Freddy Roach end the discussion before it starts. I would like to see the fight and would give Manny the edge because of experience, he's would probably be able to handle all of the challenges Kirkland would present.

I don't think Manny would be dumb enough to stand toe to toe. If he was James would definitly have the advantage and ultimately end up catching the smaller PAC.

But Manny will be Manny and will be out classing, out speeding and out fighting James on pretty much all levels. James will have a very hard time not being able to get any kind of consistant offense going due to the footwork and continuous punches from all angles landing on him. Now he could catch Manny on the ropes but he won't be able to keep him there long enough to take advantage of the brief opportunities.
