Lol, no it doesn't make you "guilty" but it makes you appear as if you're guilty. Have you ever tried to "decline" to take a breathilizer...they are going to take you in and get their tests done, of pursue other means of getting the info they need. I mean how the **** would a cop prove you're driving drunk if you don't take the test...so by this logic we would never catch a drunk driver, that sounds pretty shitty to me. Not answering questions for the police...why the **** would you not answer questions for the police who are trying to solve a crime, that would catch a criminal, and ideally keep your community safer...unless in some way you are guilty of wrong doing. Hence they will assume as much and pursue other means of getting your information. In theory what you say sounds good, but if my wife and daughter were murdered and you had info that could help find the killer, why the **** would you not talk to the police? I absolutely can't wrap my mind around that aspect of your idea, or if you aren't drunk driving why would you refuse a 20 second process of breathing into a machine? I don't understand why you would do that, unless you were guilty and using your "rights" as a crutch to evade the consequences for your irresponsibility.

all of that is well and good...but when you are provided an opportunity to prove ur innocence and you decline, then people will doubt u...the LFSDT as u call it haaha is used by other sports, and its kind of crazy that the most violent sport has the most relaxed drug testing policies...did michael phelps complain or provide excuses when he was drug tested the DAY OF a race (which he consequently won), no, because he had nothing to hide...'manny appears to be a nice guy so he wont cheat' seems to be plausible reasoning to prove his innocence, and this is obsurd.

There's a small number of his peers who actuall bought into Floyd's accusations which is understandable. But for the most part the vast MAJORITY are all in support of Manny and not accepting Floyds accusations given how the accuastions came about and how they were directly tied to the demands that would ultimately be the reason why we havn't seen the fight between the two.

I'm actually one of the few who feel Marg has paid his debt for the wrong he was accused of and think he should be able to continue makeing a living. Based on the punishemnt he recived speaks to the actual case they had against him. There wasn't enough evidence to support criminal charges or a stiffer penatly.

Had it been a cut and dry case against him his licenced would be revoked forever. No if and or buts about it.

I feel the same way about Conte...who is helping out with a growing number of top level athletes. Andre Ward included and he's been acredited with doing wonders for Andre and Andre is supporting this ex con who was caught helping athletes CHEAT......Yes....Vic was wrong but he paid his debt to society and he should be able to continue making a living.

I cant believe this debate is still going on. Pac agreed to Mayweather's original terms and Mayweather no longer wanted the fight. It was never about 'cleaing up the sport', it was about pride and gaining a mental edge/upper hand in the negotations. And in Mayweather's case, it was quite possibly a way out of the fight. People, the accusation came from Mayweather Sr...you are honestly going to believe him? :patsch Incredible.

  6. If i know i didnt commit the crime, i would definitely take the lie detector test. Wouldnt u? However, if i was hiding something i wouldnt touch it with a ten foot pole. Think about it. If someone randomly accused u of murder and u knew u didnt do it, wouldnt u take the polygraph test? Just to clear your name. Answer truthfully.

the thing about it is that nobody thought manny was on anything until they saw his reaction to testing...it wasnt like floyd said, 'manny is on something, dont u guys think!?!?'...it was more like floyd asked for testing (which is not something extraordinary, blood testing in professional sports is quite common) and people saw manny reactions as being suspicious...people formed their own opinions it wasnt because of the request itself...i dont think many people take roger and floyd sr's ramblings to seriously, and i only became suspicious of manny when all of the excuses and lies started.

Hes a big junior welter, havent seen a whole lot of him, but I will say this, just as Mike Tyson fought guys with tremendous reach and physical size advantages over him, he like Pac had an advantage in speed and power. Pac has proven he can hit with the best of them, and he has better speed than most.

Nah...it wasn't anything like that. Floyd sr and Jr said PAC was on ****...PERIOD. And that tee'd up the demands for testing which is NOT normal. It's never been done before. This is Olympic style testing that Floyd demanded PAC take in order to agree to do his job as a fighter which was very unusual...especially since we are talking about Floyd.

The reaction was seen by some as suspicious but more started asking the question "WHY" all the sudden is Floyd taking this route...why is he acting in this way about PAC when it contradicts what he's been saying in the past...>Why come up with the allegations when you know the biggest fight in boxing history with Manny was on the horizon. It was all just too suspect for most which is why it's Floyds rep that has taken a major hit. Simply b/c that **** didn't add up.

A lot of it is jealousy IMO. For instance, when Paulie Maglinaggi came on The Ropes Boxing show, he was just mouthing off like a jealous girl. Being COMPLETELY irrational. I just think a lot of fellow fighters are hating on the man.

Best post of the thread. Athletes are cheating like crazy these days but in boxing people like to turn a blind eye to the matter and it's ridiculous.

    right on the money

sad part is....pac fans will use "cultural" differences as an actual excuse....pacs advisor and promoter are both north american....he fights in north american for north american currency....somebody take the time to explain to pac the north american sports culture!

I thought it was a one year ban? But It's a sticky situation b/c Marg was hit with some MAJOR accusations that had some evidence....how solid the evidence is the only question..... it didn't look too solid based on the "slap on the wrist " marg recived.
