Katsidis: Marquez is mine

Katsidis will beat Marquez at this point, IMO. Marquez is just coming to the end of his career and I think Katsidis, with his ferocious work rate, would stop him in the late rounds.

 

I don't think so. I see Khan beating Katsidis handily (No disrespect). Khan isn't as stupid as Mitchell to get trapped onto the ropes and start trading with him.

Khan would keep it to do distance and use his jab to a great use and eventually stop Katsidis or outpoint him. Would be a good test for Khan's defence though.

 

Katsidis is a ballsy *******. He could do this too. A lot of people might think because Marquez knocked out both guys to beat him that it's a clear win but I don't. I think the styles, age and size give Katsidis a very good chance against the better fighter.

 

That's true but I'm sure Roach would be switched onto that and know what type of tactics Katsidis would come with. I'd love for it to happen though. What a fight it would be.

 

Marquez should retire while the goings good. Barrera and Morales are two guys I hold in just as high regard as JMM and it's **** seeing them fight guys they would have smashed the **** out of in their primes.

I see him beating Bradley and Alexander but against punchers, Katsidis included, I still can't pick him to win. I think he'd lose to Maidana, Ortiz and Katsidis.

Part of his problem, is he's a warrior. It's rare you can say that in these days (just look at the cowards America is churning out) but he simply can't win a fight where he has to take good, hard shots. I don't see it happening at all. It's a problem because his warrior heart will make him fight a way his glass chin can't handle.

I see him winning against Timothy Bradley in 2-3 fights time as Bradley doesn't have big power.

But I don't see him fighting Alexander at all. Alexander has good power from what I've seen from the Urango fight and his speed is really good aswell but if he stops Kotelnik then I'll be convinced that him and Khan won't fight.

I don't see that with Katsidis, Ortiz and Maidana though. I can definetly need Khan beating them.

I can see Khan outboxing Kats, Ortiz and Maidana as long as he doesn't start trading. Just keep to a disciplined game plan and box and I see him definetly winning.

I agree about his heart and that does worry me because Khan does like to get in there and fire away but with Freddie I think he's learning a lot and is maturing mentally and becoming a better Boxer and growing out of his old wild style.

It's unfortunate. Khan has the skills to become a P4P contender but will be let down along the way due to his chin. Let's hope he can keep winning though :good

 

Marquez tends to fight @ his opponents level a lot ... so its a live fight but marquez figures him out and I say he might stop him also ... marquez dec. Or marquez tko ... I think its an A- vs a B-/C+

 

marquez could quite easily give katsidis a boxing lesson. katsidis has improved since his last go at it in america but to say marquez can't hurt him is silly, marquez has more than enough power to get rid of katsidis.

would be a very good fight, but i think golden boy see khan as their big fighter so i think they want him to beat marquez.

there are 4 fighters that could fight each other, they are khan, katsidis, marquez and maidana. most fans want it to work out as khan vs maidana and marquez vs katsidis but i think golden boy want khan vs marquez and maidana vs katisdis.
