Tyson Sued for $115 Million -- Alleged 'Iron' Theft

I guess this guy has a stronger case sueing the athletic commisions of the states he boxed in for letting him fight with serious and obvious brain damage.

I am no fan of Mike Tyson, but I am pretty sure he no longer has anywhere near $115 million to be sued for.

 

This is one of the most crazy coincidences I have come across in my life. A few weeks ago I ran into a former middleweight fighter named Mike Lankaster (I will not mention where I met him but let's just say that the circumstances were not great sadly. Boxing didn't really treat him well financially) who claimed that he was the original "Iron" Mike. He said that he tried to sue Mike Tyson years ago, but couldn't afford the lawyers and court fees/etc. This is such a weird coincidence to see this. I can't believe it. So this other guy had no case at all, and now even less because he isn't the 'original' iron Mike also :roll:
This Mike Lankaster guy can also claim he went 4 rounds with the illustarous John L. Sullivan (albeit not the real one also!)

 

Unless this guy has an official patent on the name there **** all he can do about it. Tyson could steal his full name and nickname if he wanted, its all fine.

 

He should be thrown to jail for misleading the public with his nick name iron mike. With his record feather mike sound about right.
