Froch - Abraham Venue only holds 4,000!?

    Just pulled the below quote from Froch's column in "this is nottingham" Was hoping this could have been in a slightly bigger venue. It could easily sell out 10-15,000 over here or ireland, or another neutral location. wonder why they only settled on a lil 4,000 seater? A lot more money could be made here...

    I doubt they will get more than 4,000 in a neutral venue.....i also dont think they would get 10,000+ in Ireland.

    I posted a picture of the venue on the original thread regarding the venue a few weeks back.

    the place looks like a bullring, and some of the seating has restricted viewing.

    Disagree. If theres a great atmosphere is will make the fighter better.

    if the fight was in the UK, say the MEN, 20,000 would go and see it, and the atmosphere would be buzzing.

    im just pleased its not in germany.

    just waiting on a good tv deal for this, fat micks ballsed everything up since the pascal fight hopefully this one gets snatched by itv like the khan/malignaggi fight was.

    ITV have an anti-boxing lobby I believe.

    Think the only reason the Khan was on ITV was because they were given it for free.
