    nah.

barrera was a semi final tbh.

    and he failed badly. :patsch

if naz had won it might have come off though.

although the brothers and bob arum weren't getting along to smooth.

that was the big reason barrera got naz in the first place. :yep

i reckon harrison would have beaten naz around 2002.

not the 97 version though. :nono

when is the jailbird being released?

intrigued to see how his comeback goes.

if they licence him of course. :patsch

Hamed could have been a three-weight champion. He wasn't, but he could have been. But even if he had, that wouldn't have rivalled Pac's achivements, let alone exceeded them. Reality is, 130 was a probably a step too far for a man his size.

Does anyone see Hamed beating (a) Cotto (type) at welterweight?

Honestly, he had the power to hurt guys at that weight, would totally depend on what Naz you are talking, its hard to say what level of welterwights he could beat though.

Its easy to just dismiss it that it couldnt happen but then people did that with Pac aswell. (plus to make it fair Naz would need to be on whatever Pac allegedly may be on ;) )

Nope I don't think he did. Since the 2nd JMM bout, Pacquiao went on to be even more incredible than he already was. No chance in hell could Naz have done what Pac did. He just wasn't built for it.

At most, Naz could have gone up to lightweight. Even that would be pushing it, as he was small for his weight.

    A wasted talent though.

Naz was 5'4 and once had to put weights in his shorts to make Jnr Bantamweight.

Even when he filled out he was small featherweight, and I seriously doubt he would have been effective any higher than 130lbs.

Pac's ability to climb the weight classes is freakish. Plus he's a better boxer than Hamed ever was.

Hamed has lots of natural talent, power and speed. It's a shame that his new trainer tried to make him into a ballet dancer. His trainer did the same to Frias. He ruined two great fighter's careers.
