    Yes he is Imo.

And even if he wasn't/isn't everyone will think so after Pac makes him look terrible.

The Mosley beatdown he received will have taken a lot out of him, and I didn't see his last fight but he didn't exactly look great there.

It's hard to even establish a prime with Margarito when it's unclear whether or not he cheated in any of his wins. We'll never know. I voted yes because he's going to look like a mess against Manny and we otherwise won't see a lot of him ever again. He is universally reviled and if it weren't for this upcoming super fight there would be a lot of resistance to even having his fights broadcast.

I said no seeing as hes bound to look rusty as soon as hes back in action, i doubt there really is enough evidence to say he is.

Maybe. I can't really say just because he got whipped by SSM. Right now, he's definitely rusty. His next 2 or 3 fights should give us the answer to whether he's past it or not.

We may never know...the year off certainly hasn't helped, and I'm pretty sure Pacquiao is going to give him fits with his speed.

Yep, today's plaster isn't what it used to be...

Seriously though... If you saw his last 2 fights there's no other explaination than that he's past it.

its hard to say, because we don't know how long he has been cheating...its kind of hard to believe that the shane fight was his first time cheating, and it wouldnt make sense for it to be because shane was given almost no chance to win (meaning that margo wouldnt view this as the fight that he would have to do something extra to win). he had a few losses early in his career, and then started cheating to win, and now that he cant cheat anymore he is the average fighter he was all along, however this is just MY opinion

TCYoungblood you've got me thinking, what if Margo's incredible Chin had in the past been fortified by a kind of mental strength knowing his dirty little secret, like every time Cotto pasted him good, he'd think, just wait til I catch up with you amigo, I've got something right here that'll flatten you. Those were maybe some of those times he smiled after taking Cotto's big shot. And you could see it kinda ****ed with Cotto's head.

Still can't say whether Margarito cheated in that fight, but you could see *IF HE DID* how it'd help you mentally in walking through the other guys shot better than if you didn't have that (secret/dirty/cheating/conniving) edge.

If Tony does significantly worse against Emmanual tho-
    * it might be he was always about the loaded gloves, OR
    * he was rusty, layoff too long, OR
    * Pacqiuao IS that good, OR
    * who the **** knows

    ####EDIT, plus what Hatesrats says

Cant really say much about margaritos performance against shane because he knew he got caught with that **** on his gloves and you could see it in his face as he walked to the ring tha he knew he was ****ed and showed little to no effort at all to fight shane, he was like a rag doll puppet that night which is crazy considering how he just walked through cottos best shots (some of the most flush, hard shots ive ever seen)like they were nothing and was fighting at an almost inhuman rate...but i also know this guy has always been a gym rat and we can all assume he never stopped training through out his suspension, i say hes not past his prime but this whole scandal took a good deal out of him.

Long layoff. Took a serious beating in his last big fight where his supposed granite chin was shattered. No longer able to use loaded wraps.

Ya, I'd say he's not just past his prime, but outright finished.

Took alot of hard shots against cotto and got blasted by Mosley. I'm sure that granite chin gots a crack in it. He's been fighting since around the age of 16 as a pro, so yeah, he's gotta be past prime.
