Who deserves the #10 spot on my fighters of the decade list?

    He was an undisputed champion and two division titleist (should have been 3, IMO). He was avoided, yes...but he also has two brilliant and dominant wins against Shane Mosley, to compliment a schooling of Trinidad and good wins against Quartey, Soliman and McKart (amongst others).

    He didn't look done. Tito was what he was - basic. So against crafty defensive masters like Winky and Hopkins - he was always going to struggle.

    I'd still give him a spot, I'm fairly certain the Tito of 00/01 against, say, the Castillo, Casamayor or Coralles would be no certain thing either way...

    I voted Castillo, but I'd probably put Cotto in ahead of the 3 listed.

    Trinidad fought 9 times in the 2000's. He lost 1/3 of those fights. And was schooled badly twice. Only 1 of those wins was against a potential HOF level opponent (Vargas).

    So that's 1 notable win in a decade, and 2 bad schoolings - hardly worthy of a Top Ten place.

    Margarito's resume is pretty good for the 2000's, though his cheating probably results in his exclusion

    In era of belt holders - he was a champion. In many (most) people's opinions he beat Floyd Mayweather. Plus wins over potential HOFers in Casamayor and Corrales.
