How can anyone NOT respect Mayweather?

I respect him when he gets in the ring, he never fails to deliver. I also like that he's basically ignoring all the ABC organizations, they all deserve it.

I disrespect his very hand picked comp, his unwillingness to be upfront about this whole Pacquiao business, and his ridiculous assertions about being the best ever, etc. His money persona is also ****ing stupid.

 

gifted or not, like most spoiled childs who think the world spins for them they usually annoy the **** out of everyone.

 

It's simple really. They're haters. They hate.

 

You don't stay at the P4P list like Floyd has for 12 years by cherry picking your opponets. Just ask Joe calslappy whom it took 10 yrs after became champ to make the list. Floyd has fought the best and was linear champ 5 times and is the hightest active PPV fighter.

 

Agreed - in the ring, if you don't respect him you're just a hater. Outside the ring, ehhhh...

 

Let's put you to the test then. Does this apply to Floyd only? Let's see if you agree to your own statement except apply it to Pac. We'll then see if you are biased on not.

He doesn't fight who he wants. He fights who Arum wants him to. Pac will fight anyone. There's no denying that. But he's not his own man as Arum force feeds him Top Rank guys and Manny just goes along with the plan. At least that's what has been going on lately.

Edit: And of course I respect Pacquiao.

I respect his skillset.

 

I respect him in the ring as he is talented but his persona he wants to put out I simply can't. He might be his own man but he can behave like a child. His trash talk isn't ever funny like the great trash talkers before him and most of the time he comes of childish.

To be honest I don't think he acts like his own man when the cameras come on. I have been told by many who know him he is a very nice and personable. It is just when the cameras come on and he wants to be the center of attention is when I can't stand the kid.

Concerning his persona, everything he says and does is an effort to sell his fights and make more money and he does a damn good job of that. Hate all you want. The fact is he's doing better money wise than ANY of you will ever do. And you're just sitting on your ass talking ****. Who's the real dumbass?
