Light heavyweight division is the only division that have multiple champions since 2007. Chuck Liddell was the last champion that defended the title multiple times.

    Rampage-defended once-loss 2nd defense
    Forrest Griffin-Loss 1st defense
    Rashad Evans-loss 1st defense
    Lyoto Machida-defended once-loss 2nd defense
Shogun Rua?????? we'll have to wait and see.

Brock Lesnar looks like he'll be champion for a while after beating shane carwin.
Anderson Silva has dominated the middleweight division
GSP has dominated the welterweight division
Bj Penn was dominating the lightweight division until he loss to edgar. I'm picking him to win the rematch.

I think it is still the most competitive division in the UFC because of the large number of elite fighters in it. I see the amount of champions in such a short space of time as a reflection of that.

205lbs has Rampage, Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida, Shogun and Little Nog all in contention, with Jon Jones and Ryan Bader as up-and-coming stars. Old favourites like Rich Franklin and Forrest Griffin could still make an impact and there are a few decent prospects like Phil Davis who could develop into contenders.

But even getting into contention is difficult, with fighters like Luiz Cane, Jason Brilz, Thiago Silva, Matt Hamill, Vladimir Matyushenko, Igor Pokrajac and Brandon Vera all barring the way.

And of course, Anderson Silva could always move up full-time...

true it has so much talent that it's hard to keep the title for a long time.

LAcking elite fighter? Jackson and Rua will go down as all time greats. If Machid and Evans continue their work then they will go down as great fighters too. So many top contenders like Lil Nog. Sick prospects like Bone Jones.

    The division is stacked.

Stacked division there is, much better than HW division. Must be a nightmare for the UFC matchmaker when it comes to matching fights in LHW.

I belive 205pounds is such a popular weight also it will also be a stacked division in MMA & Boxing.

205 is the most stacked division in the UFC. Even if you ignore the old timers like Couture, Liddell, and Ortiz, there are plenty of young prime fighters like Rua, Machida, Rampage, Evans, Griffin, Lil Nog, and Jon Jones.

The fighter who can rise from this crop and keep the belt for an extended period of time will go down as one of the all time greats.

True it is stacked that is why it's so hard to keep the title for a long time. I believe shogun might be the guy that has a chance to keep this belt for a while.

I think there are elite fighters, but I don't think it's the most cmopetitive division.

Name the top 10-15 lhw's if you don't think the UFC has elite ones.
