Margarito vs Mayorga at 147 in their primes

Mayorga had the better chin and the bigger heart...

 

I like this fight a lot, and would have paid good money to see this.


I really have no idea who I would pick in this one.

 

Prime Mayorga was a ****ing crazy guy who was as tough as they get. I'd have to give him the nod in this one.

I seriously miss seeing that nutter in the ring, guaranteed entertainment! Not many fighters I can say that about these days.

 

Better chin? What are u talking about? He's been knocked out 4 times. Margarito has tremendous heart as well. I dont see how u can say that Mayorga has more.

 

Margarito by UD. Too busy and he throws much better punches then Mayo. Mayo's too much of a home run swinger. Don't think he could match Margarito's output or deal with his aggression. Mayorga wa good, but severly overrated.

margo dont have that one shot pop like oscar and tito, but he throws a lot from different angles....enough to trouble a wide looping home run hitter like mayorga......

 

Margo isn't gonna be eating a bunch of Mayorga bombs. He's only going to be eating a couple, then it's goodnight.

 

I think Mayorga beats him in an war...Mayorga was very unorthodox and can take a punch to dish his out...Margorito would be walking into some bombs.

I got Margo on this one. Both of this guy's have great chins but are weak to the body. I think Margos body work would be to much for Mayo.

What does you being Mexican have to do with this? Mayorga has been stopped FOUR times. What have u seen in Margarito that makes u think he lacks heart? Its a serious question. He's been in some serious wars against bigger men. ****ing Santos looked huge when they fought and he didnt even hurt him. How is Mayorga's chin better? Im saying this as a boxing fan.
