I only respect boxers who fight the best, win or lose. Floyd used to have my respect, but he lost it when he came to Welter and did dick all. Yes, Judah was a good (not great since he had just lost by KO) opponent. Other than Judah, Mayweather has done little at Welter. So yeah, being a coward doesn't earn my respect...
Still destroys the credibility of the win... Hey, I give Floyd credit for taking a risk, kinda, a little. He didn't know how good Shane was going to be on fight night, so it was still a risk, but it was a calculated risk. Shane was old and not fighting for a year has a tendency to magnify your age... So yeah, either way, Floyd has still not done **** since fighting Judah who was on the decline. So you and Miles keep fighting the good fight. I have more admiration for the two of you than I do for Floyd, it takes a lot of guts to go down with a sinking ship...
You said skills that have been rarely tested, if ever. You obviously have not watched his career. Saying he has never tested himself is not only idiotic, but just plain stupid. Your opinion is worthless.
The point of me saying that is that nobody can be at fault for Mosley having such a long lay off...Its on him to atleast have a tune up or something to keep himself in fighting shape. So in my opinion he should get full credit for this victory given on how some fans (yes some on here) were saying how he would never fight Mosley or anybody thats a threat to his "0"
Good question... I can't comment on matches Floyd could have fought in that never happened. Shane did a lot of dubious **** during his career... That being said there were a ton of other matches to be made that Floyd avoided... If Floyd had fought and beat Shane back then, when he was much closer to his peak, Mayweather would be getting more respect from me as a Welter.
:!::!::!: ROFLMAO!!! Mayweather being a cherry picker is a problem that plagued him way before Pacquiao entered the picture. So you clap you hands and wiggle your hips like "TinkerBell" and that **** ain't gonna go away. In fact with his latest DEBACLE, he's been exposed as being A BIG FAT ***** that's been pounded all night. Hope he had a nice vacation... hahaha!!!
You act like it bothers me you think like this. I just can't believe someone can be so dumb and ignorant, but whatever makes you happy.
He does deserve credit for taking the match. Like I said, he didn't know how good Mosely would be when he showed up on fight night. However, the Mosley that showed up was old and a shadow of his former self... So yes, Floyd does deserve some credit; however, as I said before, it was still a calculated risk. Mayweather was smart enough to know that Mosley may come to the ring looking like an old man. Also, I didn't believe that Mayweather would take the fight even with an old Mosley. I posted it here somewhere... But Floyd proved me wrong. I really hope Floyd proves me wrong again and fights Pac. Win or lose that will put Floyd back on my good side.
