Wladimir Klitscko vs Prime Riddick Bowe

This has been done a lot over here. My answer will never change. Riddick Bowe wins. Doesn't matter if Klitschko destroys Peter, Povetkin, Haye, Solis, Boytsov, and Adamek. None of those guys are near the same league as the best heavyweights of the 1990s.

 

I would certainly be rooting like mad for Wlad, but I expect 'big ducker' Bowe to win on a come from behind (T)KO.
But hey, some here even believe Haye would beat Bowe...

Quick observation here- if I remember correctly, the last time someone did this one, Bowe blew Wlad out of the water. As of now, its pretty even. So I guess the legend of Wlad, and his acceptance as an ATG, is growing.

 

Not hate. Bowe is better than Wlad in almost every department.

I think it is especially on a site with true boxing fans like we are and Wlad despite ruining the Heayweight division with his boring dominance deserves all the credit in the world for being a talented, skilled heavyweight. IK know a lot there think I hate the K2 brothers because I think they are boring (especially Wlad) but I respect them for thier skills and their dominance.

 

Bowe's lumbering foot work and Wlad's ability to control range keeps this from becoming a brawl but how does he deal with the Fanman, Jesse Jackson, Walkie Talkie Clubbings, and Race Riots?

So what, Bowe´s footwork wasn´t worse than Peters and Peter still managed to trouble Wlad. And Bowe was a lot bigger than Peter, not that easy to outjab for Wlad. It´s hard to believe that Wlad would dominate him for twelve rounds without Bowe being able to get to him once. Bowe could go to war, take a hell of punishment, just watch the Golota fights. Do you think Wlad would survive the return fire of Bowe the way Golota did ? No way, Wlad is simply not able to fight, he´s just looking great when all is going his way, when he is able to keep his opponent at bay.

 

And Bowe isn't in the same league as the best heavyweights of the 90s..
