    Logic prevails!

They did cry that he was avoiding Hatton. Brian Kenny was on TV saying that Floyd was ducking Baldomir and Hatton! :rofl

Never heard it myself but sounds more like hype for those fights...With the talent at WW, it sounds odd to claim 'duck' over a quick flame out like baldo or hatton in another division...And I believe you that it was said...But there was a steady drum beat for the other fighters on my list...

    :lol::lol:
:rofl Margo wouldve given him a BELT, Baldomir gave him a CHAMPIONSHIP.

 The Saints should have just been content with their division championship last year, its just as good. Oh, and the Cavs won their division, thats better than any old championship.

Absolutely. He fought a high risk/medium reward guy in Zab and he got shitted on for not fighting Baldo- the Real champ.

Thank you! Everyone gave him hell for "ducking" Baldomir, so he fights the guy who beat the guy for the lineal championship, and that's still not good enough.

This was not hype. This was pure Haterade from Brian Kenny as usual. I would expect nothing less. This was 2006. You are a clearly a newcomer to boxing to a.) not know of this video, and b.) to claim that Baldomir and Hatton were quick flame outs. :patsch

Baldomir beat Judah and Gatti back to back. He was too strong for Floyd. He was too big for Floyd. Now he's a joke. Consider that this joke of an opponent beat Pacquiao's most recent joke of an opponent. He beat Judah and Gatti as well.

I wouldn't say Hatton looked horrible fighting at welterweight, he looked horrible against Collazo because he couldn't outmuscle him because of the size of Collazo who was a huge WW come fight night.

Mayweather was different, he was still a small welterweight for that division and came in against Judah weighing 146 and Baldomir weighing 149 on fight night, now compare that to Hatton who less than a year after fighting Mayweather at WW came in on fight night against Malignaggi weighing 152 you can see that the size difference shouldn't have been a problem for Hatton at all.

Floyd was also accused of ducking Mosley before the JMM, fight. Well Floyd BY HEAVY DEMAND fought and whip Shane in his next fight. Floyd is a two time Undisputed WW Champ (Linear is just as good). Floyd, will make a run at becoming the best WW champ since Sugar Ray Robinson before he's through. A win over Pacman and a undefeated Andre Berto will speak volumes.

i only use the word ducking if i think a boxers is too scared to fight someone, you know like riddick bowe was.

floyd was the WW champ after beating baldomir, and yes he could have pushed for margarito and cotto, but instead he fought oscar and hatton. he took on mosley when he was #1 and hopefully his next opponent will be top class.

i dont really think there is a problem with the fights floyd has had, the problem is those he hasnt fought, and the issue is his inactivity.

you know people wouldnt mind the fights he has had if names like cotto and williams and clottey and forrest and wright and casamayor and freitas and obviously pacman where dotted around his resume also.

im not saying he avoided all these, but as the number 1 boxer in the world shouldnt he have consistently called these names out?

its like pacman now fighting margo, you know he is the best fighter we have and he chosses to fight an un licensed boxer? it is shambolic. him and floyd atm are shambolic. "floyd went on holiday so pacman had to fight margo" it is bs and shouldnt be acceptable.

if floyd wants to be seen as the best, he should get his ass back in the ring vs legitimate challenges. if pacman wants to be seen as a 154 champ, he should beat a current 154 champ at 154 pounds, or take on a top 10 opponent for the vacant belt.

both these two are pissing on boxing during the 2nd half of this year.

considering floyd fought mosley who was #1 and pacman fought clottey who was probably the 4th best WW, so they both beat very decent opponents, and now floyd goes on holiday and pacman fights a cheat? its terrible.

Well said...Although I thought Clottey stood a strong chance of beating Pac but, that looks utterly stupid now...I thought Clottey was a beast, and now I think he's a deer in the headlights in the big fights...He reminds me a little of Alex Stewart....The sad thing is Pac has fought more top WW than Floyd....
