Alexander is the front-runner, imo, with Khan as the dark-horse.

No one at 140 can beat Khan on points, the only chance of beating Khan is via a KO, but under Roach it is becoming harder fight by fight to do that.

Sure people say he is yet to face the best at 140, but so are the others, by the end of next year we will know who is 140 KING.

Khan would easily be the favorite if there wasn't concerns with his chin. I just can't see him getting through all of these guys without getting dropped. He may be able to sneak past one of Bradley or Alexander but definitely not both of them IMO.

 

That's why he will fight the winner of Bradley vs Alexander, when he beats Maidana.

I have better faith in his chin/defence at 140.

 

I think that Alexander is the best 140lb fighter out there now because he is the only one with boxing skills and power. Bradley has good skills, little power and alot of heart which isn't always a good thing when you have a suspect chin. Khan has the best jab in the division but he will need more against the best in the division. Don't sleep on Zab though. At 140lb he is an animal with power, speed and athletic ability beyond anyone else in the division. Mardona showed he can take a punch but is his claim to fame making Ortiz quit? Would love to see Hatton back in the mix but I think he would be no better than 3rd best.

 

I want to see Bradley against Devon.

I think people overrate Devon a tad. What's his claim to fame? KOed a limited Urango. That showed he had power. And beat a completely washed up Witter.

Bradley is the proven man in this division. He beat a fresher Witter, a powerful Holt, undefeated Peterson, was on his way to whooping Campbell and just beat an undefeated WW.

 

Either Alexander or Khan. I can't pick between the two though. Alexander has such great ring smarts and pure skill, he can throw every punch with power. Khan is not quite as skilled as Alexander but what he has is a scary combination of speed and reach that I can't remember seing anything like at that weight class. And he's got good power too. So I'm not sure who to pick between the two.

I might actually have Ortiz as the other possibility ahead of Bradley. I think when Ortiz fights smart and boxes, and doesn't try to trade, he can hang with anyone in the division.

Bradley for me. Always been impressed by his hard work in fights and he gained a lot of respect for beating Witter in his backyard for the title when Witter was considered in the top 2 of the division.
Alexander is the closest i see other than Bradley to winning this tournament.
