You can cry yourself to sleep if you want. I'll watch the fight. I think its about time Chavez Jr steps it up and that Cotto's opposition has been commendable.

:good Exactly...Arum is a ****ing disgrace IMO...I respect him on how he gets the job done but looking at it from a fan perspective...I cant stand his ass...I hope Cotto does leave him...he really doesnt care about his fighters at all...He only cares about himself.

As a fan of boxing, if this fight does come off, I cant lie, I will be watching:yep

I was really impressed with Chavez in his last fight with roach as his new trainer. Plus Cotto is on the decline. Chavez has a great chance at winning and I wouldn't be surprised if he does. Either way it'll be a great fight, a possible fight of the year candidate. If it has a good undercard, I'll probably be going.

I think you might be getting a little carried away...

Chavez took a small step up with Duddy, now he is trying to take a GIANT leap with Cotto. Just because he hopped over a pebble doesn't mean he will be able to soar above a mountain in a single bound...

I predict a horrific, one sided, beat down...

Quality wise maybe, money wise i don't think so this fight will sell more than Cotto vs Williams, Cotto vs Berto, Cotto vs Angulo, Cotto vs Martinez.

I understand what your saying. Cotto without a doubt will be the favorite going in this fight. Honestly, I think Chavez will take it. I'm pretty sure Roach will have a good game plan against cotto. Also if roach didn't think Chavez could take on Cotto, I don't think he would ok this fight. Roach is a smart dude he knows what's up with Cotto.

Another thing you have to consider is that Chavez is going to be ****ing motivated for this fight if it does happen. His first time in the big stage with a big name, infront of a pro Chavez crowd. It'll be a great fight! I seriously doubt it'll be a one sided beat down.

If this happens Roach will give some VERY luke-warm praise to Cotto and then he will throw Chavez under the bus... I don't know if you have noticed, but Roach has become a conceited *****.
