He did too. On my card Kotelnik simply won more 3 minutes.

Because a British judge and a French judge will always choose a German-based Ukrainian over a German-based Argentinian?

:huh If that those 2 judges that score it for Kotelnik then i'm not surprise cause british is european like in germany. And beside i won't be shock if Germany president pay those judges to make sure Kotelnik will win it if it is a close fight. But seriously i think those judges give it to Kotelnik because a very biased crowd that cheer everytime Kotelnik throws a punch.

Not that it wasn't a close fight that could actually be scored legitimately either way, but you'd sound more credible if you stopped going by what you 'feel in your heart' and who you think threw or landed more punches during the fight as a whole and actually scored each round...

Again, what the **** has Germany got to do with anything? Neither Maidana nor Kotelnik is German. Both were based in Germany at the time (with the same promoter).

The German president? :? What are you talking about?

When this fight happened alot said Kotelnik was a bum that couldn't even beat a Argentinian cab driver. Then Maidana destroys Ortiz and he's universally accepted as a top 140lber. Oh Americans.

Kotelnik is european not Maidana you knuckle head. So what that Maidana promoter is germany or whatever. Cunningham promoter is european so is that mean that promoter will make it fair for him if he face a european fighter in germany? No. Kotelnik is popular in germany in which he's fought most fights there.

It's actually kind of endearing that you think that a French judge or British judge would be biased in favour of a Ukrainian on the basis that he's 'European'. Especially as you probably genuinely believe it. Bless! :rofl

I notice you didn't answer my other post yet, post your scorecard for this fight.

they were stablemates and Maidana as a ko artist was the more exciting/marketable and younger guy

I had it 115-113 Kotelnik though could have gone either way if i rewatch it now i maybe would have Maidana ahead by a round
However Kotelnik really has one hell of a chin. i´d be highly impressed if Alexander somehow manages to stop him.

Brilliant fight that. I had it 115-113 to Maidana. But it could have gone either way. Kotelnik was landing some beautiful shots earlier in the fight.
