you know what, I like watching tennis, so ain't gonna complain about a slick boxer I like boxing for the sport more than the blood and such. In fact, I'm always a little disappointed when a fighter gets an unlucky cut and starts bleeding.
lol...*******s accuse "*****s" of being ridiculous....and weve got a guy in here saying floyds doing numbers on the strength of a possible fight with pacquiao...so basically on pacs back.....is floyd the highest paid man in boxing(and in almost all of sports)too because of a perceived fight with pac?
When Wlad was on HBO I technically 'payed' to watch him fight. Since HBO canceled all future Wlad performances I have canceled HBO. I have not payed for any of his Internet PPVs, not out of principal, but they lack the convenience that my digital recorder offers me with respect to rewatchability and and the inconvenience of having to watch the fight via potentially choppy feed, mediocre definition, on a screen 1/6th the size of my television with an inadequate sound system.
I never pay for his fights, either watch them at the pub or watch them later on youtube. Watch his 24/7's on youtube also. I like his fighting skills I just don't like the way he goes about his business/career in general, I could care less if someone has a loss on their record aslong as they fight the best in their prime and show no fear.
I get gee'd up for his fights thats about it. I havent paid because live fights need action, floyd takes the fight out of fighting, you cant say you dont feel a little disappointed at the end of a mayweather bout.
This. I can't imagine how any real boxing fan wouldn't pay 50 dollars to see the p4p no.1 fight. He only ever fought twice a year at the most once he hit PPV anyway.
You didn't give enough options!:yep I LIKE Floyd a lot for what he does in the ring. He's not the most exciting or the kind of RISK taker I'd like to see more in him but he's absolutely incredible to watch. In spots Floyd incorporates everythign that the sweet science is. He uses skill, defense to set up offense, natural talent and instinct with beautiful technique. It's not consistant for the full 3 mins of every round but I think it actually builds anticipation for when Floyd actually does something that makes the entire crowd go "AHHHH!". You should have an option that says "I like him and enjoy watching his fight"..
So your argument is that he is the soccer of boxing. OMG Floyd threw a punch GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL
I watch his fights and admit 24/7 was made for him. However I really only looked forward his fights with Gatti, DLH, Hatton and Mosley. Mosley was the only fight of his that I bought, the others I saw at a pub or club or through 'other sources' - I didn't have cable at the time. Mosley, DLH and Hatton are the only fights I would have bought. As for his future matchups Pac is the only one I will pay to see.
didn't watch Marquez and didn't watch Mosley... Didn't see the value of buying these ppv's. just like to say, I did get ripped off watching Clottey and Pac.
I made a commitment a long time ago to never contribute a single dime to PBF's career. I did plan to go back on that and buy the Pac fight, but -- :tired
