Aaron Mitchell is the twin of Eric Mitchell, the dude who fougt Mayorga in the Garden in 04.

Hasn't fought anybody that known really but should be a decent test.

Golo will have to really step it up after this.

WFT, Universum is after the twins now?

First it was Travis Simms twin brother Tarvis, now Erik Mitchell twin brother Aaron.

What's next if they run out of twins? :nut

Apparently there has been a change of opponents:

WBO #4 Gennady “Mr. Merciless“ Golovkin (16-0, 13 KOs), the shooting-star of the Spotlight Boxing team, will be facing WBO #15 John Anderson Carvalho (18-3-1, 11 KOs) in a fight for the WBO Intercontinental belt.

    Says the news about fights.

The Brasilian is a durable fighter, but he will be out of his shoes against Golovkin who will not be able to give him short shrift, but who will be able to school him from pillar to post.
Golovkin vs a living punching bag who can box a little bit.
Well, not the kind of opponent against whom Golovkin must nail his true colours to the mast or test unchartered territory.
I watched Zbik vs Cavalho. The German easily outpointed Cavalho winning a shut out point decision over him.

Well, I guess the most important thing about Golovkin's upcomming fight is that he can showcase his skills in front of huge fight crowd at the Nuerburg race tracks on the undercard of Sturm vs Gevor, and Zbik vs Spada.

Time for Golo to say goodbye to Spotlight/Universum. I'm fed up with talents like him forced to fight bums on shitty non-TV undercards.

Well, marketing Kazakh fighters is a hell of a hard job, so Spotlight might be good for him at the moment as long as they get him a world title opportunity shortly. But he has bigger potential to fight under this stable.

As Golovkin is getting ready for his interim title shot next week in Panama, this Gunboat deserves a :bump

Nah, the atmosphere will be so electric it would blow up all TV sets in the world. An international broadcast would risk the condition of all satellites around the globe and possibly open a black hole that would destroy everything except Golovkin of course, who'd have to save the world twice one night. For these reasons, I think you won't be able to see it outside of Panama.

Best express on all of ESB. This guy is a step above fighters like Sturm and has already ****ed up people like Bute and Dirrell in the ams.

His style is far more effective in the Pro's. He doesn't have an "amateur" style of running or just trying to score points. Plus he has genocide in both fists.

agreed, I can't imagine anyone thinking that Golovkin and AA share a style. I honestly don't know if AA hits harder though. Golovkin is the hardest hitter at 160 imo.

He's fighting Nunez for the WBA strap. I'v seem him listed at 5'11.

    p.s. War Golovkin
