    You will still watch the fight right? What has more of a story line than Maquez/Manny right now. Margaritos fight is a bs fight that is robbing boxing non casual fans the real truth. A guy without a license fighting at a catchweight of 150, robbing history is what Manny is doing.

    You miss the point as to why Arum said Marquez should face them. Manny has shown he can fight at 147. JMM has not. If JMM wants Manny, it WILL be at atleast 145 (just a guess). Right now, there's no reason for JMM to fight Manny that high in weight UNLES JMM shows he can fight that high. It's not that complicated really.

    You also miss the point why is Manny not facing them instead:good DLH at 147 was insane, Cotto's fight was rush and not to mention the demands and life problems, Clottey has been his only 147 fight... Why Manny doesn't face Berto, Bradley, Alexander instead would be the same reasons Marquez shouldn't face them. They are using the Floyd fight as Marquez not belonging at a higher weight, but then again Judah is the last opponent that look good at times against Floyd. The 147 king Mosley look worse than Marquez at his weight class.

    You may be right, but from Manny's perspective, one more belt and his countrymen may end up calling him President Pac.....:lol:

    No, I know what you meant. Didn't miss anything. You want to know why Manny isn't facing them? For starters, he's already got a dance partner. You may not like Margarito, but it's in the works, get over it.

    Why are you so insitent that PAc has to face them? Is it wrong for Arum to want to see if JMM can even be effective at WW? Manny has no more obligation to face them then JMM or Floyd or any other top WW.

    I really believe if Pac gets this belt, he is done. He can go home and tell everyone he took every big challenge that he could find a willing partner it. Arum is trying to sell Manny on fighting on with "How much good he could do for his countrymen", etc.... But Pac is about to start dealing with some truly big numbers that will make him realize that even donating his purse from a Floyd/Pac fight would be little more than a drop in the bucket.

    I doubt Manny can get to 154, I doubt he can even get to 150. Margo was fighting welterweight up until recently. If he has trouble getting down to 150 I'll be very surprised. The object of the 150 catchweight is not to weaken Margarito, it's to ensure as fairer a fight as possible. The only reason people should be upset about this catchweight is because it's for a vacant title, which I don't agree with also. Blame the corrupt WBC for that.

    Anyway, JMM-Pac III is just not a viable fight right now as it stands. Schaeffer knows this with his demands, knowing there's no chance of them being accepted. Forget the 50-50, how this clown can still demand random testing on Pac when none of their fighters on any of their recent cards had to undergo any such testing is beyond a joke. GBP are a joke right now. I can't see any of their fighters getting a fight with Pac the way they are going about things.
