How is rjj a waste of talent when he was the best fighter of the 90s and only fell off when he didn't know when to stop accepting challenges. Besides going over seas what has he avoided and how many vacations did he take in his prime?:rasta

Berto brings nothing to the table. Not even his trinket belt. PBF would stop him late.

PBF is too much for Berto. It would be interesting early but after round 4 or so PBF would simply outclass him.

...You waited on here for two and a half years to make this one post? What the hell, man? Berto and Lacy aren't even alike. Berto has elite speed for ****'s sake. But, still, Berto has zero chance against Mayweather. It would be ridiculous and comical. It wouldn't add any more credibility than fighting old Shane really. Because old Shane would ruin Berto's life. Hell, the Judah Mayweather fought would have too.

Berto is an amazing conditioned athlete, but in terms of boxing he is short and fights as flat footed as you possibly could. A world class boxer would exploit him 4/5 times.

its a great fight for anyone not named pac.

I don't see what's the incentive for Floyd unless there's a blank check already written for him to fight Berto.

usually if its too good to be true, it usually is.

Whew, I thought it was just me. However, it's not bomb ass weed that's causing those thoughts because I smoke BOMB ass weed (hash to be exact, bomb ass hash, that is) and I think the Lacy-Calzaghe analogy is blasphemy in the least.

Calzaghe overwhelmed Lacy with volume, Mayweather doesn't work that way. Even if he did, give Berto a little credit here, he'll never get wiped out like that. That is quite offensive towards Berto. Mayweather still cruises to victory, however. But I think Berto has nearly as much of a chance to land just as hard of a big shot on Mayweather as Mosley did.

well they're both epically flawed fighters, hyped to the rafters by the monsters that are hbo and showtime.
