You should read what really happend back in 1992 Vitali has a proven good chin i'm not saying that he can't get ko'ed but Briggs isn't the man to do it. Vitali Ko 4
I read about the kickboxing knockout. From what it said, he was legitimately knocked out. Going from what it said anyway, I didn't see the video. I didn't say he doesn't have a great chin though.
I am not going to argue Vitali has a great chin but I think Briggs has the reach and power to crack it if he doesnt gas.
VITLAY doesn't have a great chin by any means, he just hasn't faced any decent competition, simple as that. He got rocked terribly by fat and old Lewis in the 6th round and was stopped by the doctor soon after, and Sanders legitimately knocked him down. VITLAY has a decent chin but he's no Oliver McCall. If Briggs connects then things could get interesting but I doubt that will happen unfortunately.
If he fights VITLAY the way he fought Lewis then I could see an upset as no way would VITLAY survive the onslaught...unfortunately I think the Lewis fight was Briggs peak, it's been all downhill since. If he comes in at under 250 then we know he's serious but for my mind he'd still be too heavy, his best chance is to bum rush the guy. If it goes past 3 rounds then no way does Briggs win.
Sanders had him hurt. And I think Lewis did as well. How long is Briggs good for these days though...1 round, 2, maybe 3? Haven't watched him in a while.
Exactly the Klit lovers should not be confident there was actually an interview with Emanuel Stewart and he stated that Wlad should not fight Briggs because it was a bad style matchup. That was back in 2006 but still.
