    the guy was really just getting his ass beat, as far as early stoppages go i'm behind that one if only because it was so one sided there was no point in it continuing.

    yes I saw the FNF. And yes this fight was crappy. My bad on Joe, Replay showed Joe stopped it cause corner said to stop it.

    If a boxer survives a rnd to make it to the stool he should be given the few minutes to recover or call it quit.

    Avila-Fiore was more exciting than this, but it was 10x better than the main event.

    Yeah, the corner told him to pull the plug. Their body language was all negative and defeated as they got around Escalera. You could tell the kid was fragile from the Contender.

    Round 1

    Avalos jabs steady, while Martin bounces around and feints, dashing in with a few jabs and right hands. Nobody is landing much, other than Avalas with his jab (and mostly low).

    Avalos switches to southpaw and flicks the right jab a bit and then right back to orthodox. He rinses and repeats. Martin continues to box behind his own jab, in a very low output affair.
