im not on about frazier im on about he owuld have killed ali and yeah if foreman could beat frazier tyson could.. holyfield fights tyson past his prime and got headbutted repeatedly it was hardly a knockout when tyson was still standing.
It was a knockout because Tyson was defenseless and getting absolutely pummelled you tit.Mitch Halpern had no alternative but to stop it,less we have another Griffith-Paret. Holyfield was older, had way more ring wear and tear, was further removed from his prime, had a faulty heart valve and was picked as an easy pay day by Tyson's dumber than mud camp, yet Holyfield punched Tysons head in and would've punched his head in at any point in their respective careers. So stop making excuses ("Boo hoo Evander headbutted Mike")you cry baby:| Tyson was a dirty fighter himself but met a bigger, tougher and better man. And Ali was an even better fighter than Holy and would most certainly have out boxed, out psyched and out classed a mental deficient like Tyson.
tysons prime was 86-89 he would have mauled ali easily even ali himself said. Even tough guy holmes said he never been so scared as he had when he fought iron mike.
Ali's come out with stuff like that sometimes, when he's felt in a generous mood. Reality would be different,as Ali would have had Tyson messed up even before their fight began. Tyson would have stormed out, headhunting and trying to take Muhammad out with every shot. He'd make so many errors that Ali would make him pay for, dearly.
tyson in his prime didnt head hunt heused to bob and weave tee him them up with the jab and a swift combo then eventually all it would have taken is the 1-2 he unleashed on holmes to send him tumbling if henry cooper can knock him down with one bomb i think tyson could with one or if not with the half dozen hook follow ups he would have over ran ali like he did to spinks

You must understand that ali was coming off a 3 year lay-off which took his legs away and slightly diminished his abilities. And as good as tyson was he didn't apply pressure like frazier, and he didn't have fraziers heart. Tyson could be fustrated and discouraged, Frazier couldn't be. Just something to think about.
atschatschatsch I was always a huge Tyson fan back in the day and I'd pick him to beat a hell of a lot of HW's....but not Ali. Also Tyson when he fought Holy was around the same age that Ali was when he fought Frazier. Ali won the title back 3 years later against the man that had beaten the living **** out of Frazier, whereas the Holyfield fight basically finished Tyson as a fighter even though he was hardly old. You want to put them in the same ring prime for prime then fine, Tyson from around 1988 against Ali circa 1966-67.....Ali wins every single time they meet. I believe Tyson admitted to being scared of George Foreman when he was champion too, the fat, bloated version of Foreman, not the monster that Ali beat in Zaire.
:good I agree with you all the way. Tyson was shot when he was 30 years old! How pathetic is that? Ali wasn't even close to being shot when he was 30 years old. Ali has better wins then Tyson, and he beats him H2H.
I loved Tyson as a fighter in his early years, he was a real force of nature from 1985-1988 but after that the character flaws started creeping in....fell for a *****, dropped everyone that had helped get him where he was thanks to Don Kings standard anti-whitey speeches etc. Look what happened. Tyson turned into a racist yet the people that did the most harm to the guy were all of his own colour. Maybe these days he looks back and feels like an idiot for doing so but it's too late now, his legacy is set in stone and it's nowhere near as good as it could have been. I still tend to agree with Rooney, he said that Tyson could have gone 50 and 0 and retired as the richest HW champion ever, but instead he ended up getting beaten up by a journeyman and spending his prime in jail. Shame, but it is what it is - and Ali lost his prime too yet still stands head and shoulders above Mike Tyson in any debate about great HW's.
