They weren't going to fight him so he moved. Was he supposed to just sit there and wait for nothing?

I thought Pac is facing a washed up Margarito for the JrMW title {at a catch-weight of course}???...and not at WW.

Since you keep bringing this up and want to speculate, ill speculate and say that both guys are big welters and they just made it easy on themselves.

Same reason Mayweather paid the extra money and kept the 2lbs vs marquez, just easier.

Paul only weighed 152. Really is it that big a deal to you to think he cant make 147 when he weighted 152 last fight? What is your agenda here?

#1 he wasnt the man, he was rated highly but not the man.

yes margarito beat cotto, then called out williams and he ran like a *****.

shane beat margo when margo WAS considered the man. after williams had ran from him.

pac fought cotto when williams was nowhere near 147.

but yes you are right, every man and his dog has ran from williams.

Maybe getting his ass beat by Quintana a guy that got crushed by Cotto had something to do with that.

this is where you are being a daft fanboy.

yes all the best 147 pounders ran from paul. that is what happened. that is why the 6 foot plus man moved up from 10 stone 7.

It's epic insanity. They love to dish out criticism and call certain fighters cowards but when their favorite fighter gets the same criticism they'll even deny that PWill is a black guy just to defend their fighter.

Then he should have fought other contenders like Clottey,Collazo or Clottey it would be better than moving up to fight Kolle and Verno Phillips.

    who claimed he aint black?

the point is. the ts said that all the top welters ran from pwill. he said pwill is comfortable at 147. he said pwill is the best fight at 147 for either man. this is all bull****.

pwill ran from 147. he fought kolle, phillips and wright. he hasnt fought at 147 for 2 years.

the best fight for pac or floyd, at 147, is pac or floyd.

NBA says Pdub makes the weight easy. Cintron offered to do the fight at WW. (Probably hoping to set up a Mayweather or Pac bout for himself)

I don't give a crap what you want to speculate to try and diffuse the point. NBA has not answered this question quite a few times now, which I find quite telling. Not sure WHAT it is telling, but it is telling something. :yep

He was #2 behind mayweather at 147 at the time and largely regarded as the most feared man in boxing at the time. It was one of the most exciting fights to be made, it was made and Pwill won and deserves a shitload of credit for it.

I dont know why u want to discredit Pwill. He has given us some wildly exciting fights and made Winky who has never been so cleanly beaten to that point look poor.

He recently beat the now lineal champ at 160 in what was the most exciting recent fight and very close decision, against a very good fighter in Martinez.
