I don't understand your point. All you're doing is telling me what Pwill has accomplished. That actually just supports my argument. The fact that Pwill has been whipping some good ass should earn him the right to face either Pac or Floyd. How the hell can you deny that when Pac has been giving opportunities to guys who aren't even close to the P4P list? Pwill doesn't need to prove to anyone he can still make 147 just as Pac doesn't need to prove to us he doesn't need to beat guys at 154 to get a shot at a MW title.

I don't care how much you hate Cintron. He is a solid WW when you consider his overall skills. Not the best and not the most likable guy obviously, but still solid. And having his name on your resume is not bad.

Where did I ever say that all the top welters ran from Pwill? I never said that you keep bouncing around and digging yourself a deeper hole while making yourself look foolish.

I contend that Pwill for either Manny or may, since they wont fight each other, is the best available fight for either guy. Yet you make no argument against it other than Pwill hasnt fought at 147 recently yet his last fight he was at 152.

Why not make the man an offer at 147? I guarentee you he will come in at 147 to fight either guy.

This is a boxing forum, thats what we do speculate and discuss. I offered you up a perfectly valid reason.

You want to make a conspiracy theory out of something perfectly explainable.

i dont hate on cintron, the fight was a farce and it aint a legitimate win.

ok the point i am making is this. if pwill is such a good talent at 147, why isnt he fighting there? why isnt he beating everyone bar pac and floyd? and if the only answer someone can come up with is "everyone avoided him" then i aint carrying on the convo cos it is fanboy talk.

im not saying it is a bad fight.

pac vs williams at 154 is far far better than pac vs margo at 154.

    same as

pac vs floyd at 147 is far far better than pac/floyd vs williams at 147.

williams is a good choice, at 154. at 147, he aint really a better win than mosley or berto.

at 154 he could well be the best choice to fight.

i aint knocking williams. but this bull about everyone running from him is bull. yes floyd, pac, mosley, cotto, clottey, berto, collazo, judah they all ran from him. every viable opponent at 147 ran from him? really?

like i said, i would much rather see pac vs williams at 154, than pac vs margo.

but the ts said at 147 williams is the best opponent for either, and it just aint true.

the best choice is floyd vs pac. by a mile.

williams is better than margo at 154.

to suggest williams is this top class welterweight is fantasy. if he was he would have stayed at the weight and beaten the top contenders. he didnt.

i aint diggin no hole, my opinion is he chose to move up because he felt more comfortable at a higher weight. you can disagree if you wish.

No, you made up something to fit what you want to be true. You are now peddling your 'speculation' from the first post as 'valid reason' in this post? Please.

I offered up facts on what happened and asked for an explanation from someone in a position to know. Period.

I think we can all agree that Manny vs May is the fight we want to see. That is not the debate here. That fight seems to be not able to be made at this moment.

I am glad you are agreeing that Pwill is not only a valuable opponent but the most preferred at this time. Even if you want to hold onto your 154/147 stipulation.

I think it can be debated that he is a better opponent than berto at 147, I think he is and I think most would agree with me. Mosley also, too old and just beaten decisively by May.

I am just curious what your angle is here? What are you trying to say? Just type it.

I am saying that if Mayweather or Pac offered Pwill a fight at 147, he would definitely make the weight, I dont even hesitate to say it.

But it shouldn't matter which weight class he fights in. This is about EARNING your way up to a huge opportunity. Nobody is more deserving than Paul Williams at this point. The guy is nearly 30 and neither Floyd or Pac has even once responded to his calls. It's a damn shame. PWill is not a name? I can easily throw in the Pac-Clottey case. Pwill doesn't sell tickets? He won't put up record numbers but he can provide substantial digits. I can almost guarantee you Pac-Pwill would do better than 700K PPV sales. Same with Pwill-Floyd.

As for the ducking game, that's just what people do. If one guy doesn't respond to the other...it's automatically called ducking. Isn't that the game we're all playing? If Floyd couldn't make a deadline - he's ducking Pacquiao. If Pac or Floyd won't answer to Pwill's challenge - they are ducking him. Or not. Depends on where you stand. You can easily make an argument for either way.

Avoiding Paul Williams? What for, in gods name. The reason they're not fighting him is because there's no money in Williams, he has no fans.

This is just plain wrong. Can you imagine the promotion for a manny vs Pwill fight? 6'1 Pwill, vs 5'6ish Manny. david vs goliath.

I would def pay for either Pwill vs Manny or May. I bet I am not alone there either. It would be a massive money maker either way.

Williams already beat Margarito and then was on looking for guys like Shane. Where was Shane?

You are calling a fighter that already faced off and beat someone a ***** but not the person that avoided the fight entirely?

Williams had to leave 147 because the big names weren't fighting him which included Shane.

    Pac avoided Shane for Cotto.

Pac is now fighting what is left of Margarito at JrMW yet why not WIlliams and/or Martinez?

It's all about Risk vs. Reward with all of them.

Yes, HUGE payday against Clottey who sold out every placed he was in.

You are telling me they couldn't sell a fight with Williams but only could do it with Clottey?

But yes, in the end it is business as usual for all of them.

No ****. And both guys love to throw. How would that not be a barn burner? And the fact that Pwill was in a FOTY candidate when he fought Sergio should give Williams some shine.

Arum is milking Pac against TR fighters, and should Pac loose atleast its to someone in his stable. Arum will make Pac-PBF when he has no one left to feed to Pac. There is absolutely no way he would:

1)Want to make less money, despite Pac-PW drawing more than Pac-Margo, Pac-Margo is all in-house profit.

2)Jeopardize his fighters status, a fighter he helped promote to make it to the top in terms of popularity and should that fighter lose that popularity wont be transferred to one of his own fighters.

3)PW has a chance of beating Pac, I give him 20%, that means 20% chance he could kill Pac-Mayweather and that means no cashout fight for Arum.

I dont think Pac is ducking PW at all. I have absolutely no doubt that if PW was a top rank fighter, he would be next.
