Waldron was getting the head beat off him and got dropped twice with body shots in the last round and couldn't get up with a minute to go.

just checked out of the Citywest Hotel at 5 AM due to all the scumbags wreaking havoc in the Hotel. The Mrs came along with me tonight at short notice so to make up for it booked us in to the Hotel. What a mistake that was.... Anyone else here have the same problem? The Gardai were there when we checked out. Couldn't get any sleeep and some scumbag in the room beside us was assaulting his wife/girlfriend. I'll post my thoughts on the boxing tomorrow. Am too pissed off right now to comment after what initially appeared to be a great nights boxing...

On the undercard DEVON ALEXANDER Vs ANDRIY KOTELNIK fight last night, Ryan “The Irish Outlaw” Coyne won the vacant WBC USNBC Cruiserweight Championship with a ninth round stoppage over Warren Browning. A right and left punch combination did the damage after 2.21 of the ninth.

“Browning was a tough guy. He thought he would have the power advantage, coming all the way down from heavyweight. The truth is, I will walk you down, lock you in the closet and defeat you. We did what we came to do. Win a championship and make my promoter, Don King, proud. This is a great fight town. Leon, Michael, Cory, Devon and all the rest. I am just proud to be following in their footsteps.”

Maher destroyed Greaves - Prunty struggled!

Prunty however does possess the finest pair of shorts in boxing history (a single gripe would be that they are a smidgen too long.
