Tonight 8/7 Alexander vs Kotelnik Cloud vs Johnson RBR

Bradley, Khan beat him easily

 

His nose and mouth were bleeding in between rounds. Kotelnik looked like he took a shower, Alexander looked a lot worse.

He would get ****ing embarrassed by Khan and Bradley. If Kotelnik can land on him like this....

 

Alexander might be the new Jeff Lacy. Maybe he'll even go across the pond and get absolutely destroyed by a Brit (Amir Khan). Hell, after watching that tonight I wouldn't be surprised if Ricky Hatton could still kick his ass.

I came into this fight very excited about young DA, but he looked nowhere near ready for the other big boys at 140. Maidana would have killed him on this night. I'm also very disappointed in Harold Lederman. I'll never be able to trust one of his scorecards again - he clearly had an agenda from the opening bell.

I usually agree with your scoring IB, but I wasn't referring to you.

I think both fights were close, but in differing ways.

I thought Cloud won, and Alexander won. I agree his stock dropped, and he was anything but impressive in taking the win.. but he just outworked Kotelnik in a majority of the rounds.

 

Big respect to Kotelnik tonight. I think everyone can agree that he's a tough, euro-level fighter.

 

Alexander will be ko'd in the very near future,he appears to be very very overrated..

He didn't land anything. Kotelnik landed his jab all night and rocked him pillar to post.

 

It's ignorant to say that Bradley and Khan would kill the guy, because if boxing has taught fans anything it's that styles make fights. Kotelnik has fantastic timing, and a high quality defense that ate up a lot of Alexander's shots. I agree that both Khan and Bradley should be favorites, but Alexander is still a very talented fighter. Khan and Bradley are vastly different fighters than Kotelnik.

 

All this coming from a guy who was hating on Alexander before th fight started it's quite obvious you wouldn't give Alexander the benefit of the doubt. Alexander won that fight going away he outwork Kotelnik who gave away rounds by not punching enough.

 

Boxingtalk also had the fight scored 116-112 for Alexander

Also had it a draw, but, I had Cloud beating Johnson by 2 points
