People are going crazy for the underdog being highly competitive. I had it 5 early rounds for Devon, 5 late rounds for Kotelnik and two I called a draw. But, I'll watch it again and see if I wasn't just distracted by following it on the ESB thread too.

Power punch stats: Alexander 136....Kotelnik 109. It was a good effort but Alexander won, get over it.

 

Remember our conversation about a month ago buddy? When I told you he had no defense and lunged in with the left? You insisted he's a crisp boxer, a la Mayweather, and now you insist he wins by outworking an opponent who lands at a higher percent? Reaching much?

You don't get credit for punches thrown, despite what Lederman would have you believe.

 

Kotelnik's punches, including the jabs, were clean and effective. Alexander's for the most part were not.

 

Kotelnik's gloves and the air around him took a serious beating. Alexander clearly won the fight.

 

Come on Boxed Ears. Alexander did not land anything on Kotelnik and you know it. Kotelnik snapped Alexander's head back time and time again. If he had power, it would've been a KO. The thread title says it all, the faster, more talented fighter had to throw 400 more punches and still got outlanded by 20 to "win the fight".
