exactly and i think people are ignoring alexander's punches because that did not "snap his head back"

alexander scored more punches than esb and punchstat give him credit for. simply put, in the first 4 rounds, his jab couldn't miss. this looks like hagler-leonard to me: a fighter easily takes the first 1/3 and then next 2/3 is firmly divided

 

im talking about who landed the cleaner punches and in each round kotelnick outlanded him and the power punches kotelnik outlanded him while alexander looked busy he was hitting gloves most of the night ,i dont honestly see how he landed 200 punches on kotelnik cuz i didnt see 200 punches landed on kotlenik

 

it's tough but i saw alexander's jab landing a LOT to be honest. past the first 4, he was diving in with the straight left and hitting nothing. but he was scoring with the jab and his body work was ignored by hbo for the most part

 

I'm not ignoring Alexander's punches, a lot of his punches were either falling short, not landing, hitting gloves or arms - they don't score, unless of course you are Lederman!!

 

thats cuz his body work was hitting elbows...for every clean shot landed kotelnik would land 3-4 of his own...exactly after the 4th is when alexander started losing

It was a robbery. Devon Alexander landed on gloves and a hole lot of air. The jabs were hitting the gloves too. I don't know how people thought they were landing cleanly

 

Down's syndrome... that's the only thing I can think of that would make you score it for Alexander.
