Hopkins beat Calzaghe. Dirrell beat Froch. Clottey beat Cotto

Ok, if we are going to apply the same dynamics as the Alexander fight, to these fights.

Can we finally get ESBers to admit who really won these fights?

 

We can't. Most who cried over those decisions claim DA won.

 

Can't really say the same about Hops-Cal. Calzaghe also outlanded Hopkins apart from outworking him. Don't know about the other two.

 

I can agree with all of those actually. But we can easily turn your logic around on you and say, based on the criteria of how you've judged this fight, that DLH beat Mayweather ... and I know you don't think that, right?

Hopkins 127 at 27%

Kotelnik 225 at 28%
Alexander 202 at 19%

Mayweather outlanded DLH nearly 2-1. What the hell are you talking about. Kotelnik outlanded Alexander by 20 punches.

Everyone knows that Hopkins landed the harder crisper shots. and Calzaghe's punches were just pitty pat slaps.


Calzaghe landed 232 punches on Hopkins. Yet at the end of the fight he looked like he took a light jog in the part.

 

I scored the Hopkins fight for Calzaghe. Based soley on Calzaghes activity.

Clottey beat the breaks off of Cotto and had him running like a ***** and Dirrell clearly outboxed Froch.

 

IMO

Calzaghe beat hopkins.. Hopkins made Calfaggy look like ****. He landed the cleaner shot but was out worked by a heavy margin, he gave a away a little too many rounds and lost 7-5 with a total of 114-113 with the KD in round 1.

Dirrell Kicked froch's ass. Sure Dirrell "ran" a bit in the earlier rounds but he clearly outboxed Froch and clearly won the championship rounds.. I only saw Froch land about 3 clean shots in the whole fight.

As far as Clottey Cotto goes I give it a draw. After the cut Clottey took over but then ****ed it up in the later rounds by doing jack ****. With the KD in the first by cotto I felt the fight came out to a draw.

....................Now for tonight. The one thing I picked up was that Kotelnik was blocking Alexanders shots and then landing with clean punches...and it was very clear and convincing. I also must say I thought Alexander was going to KO him, and it was very eye catching to see Kotelnik get the better of him. I saw enough of this in enough rounds to in the end come out with Kotelnik winning 7-5.

 

Styles makes fights in Hopkins case he made the fight (Knockdown as well) while Calslappy slaps counted, lol

 

Beat the breaks off Cotto?...please give me a break, if you felt he won then fine but he ain't beat the breaks off of anybody, what lost Clottey that fight was him getting knockdown by a simple jab and giving the championship rounds away. Dirrell is a true to life ***** made runner who lost cause he ran and stumbled to the ground on his own will when things got rough.

 

The true question is.

What was more effective. Alexanders punches landing on Kotelniks gloves. Or Calzaghes punches landing on Hopkins back?
