Cloud/Johnson & Alexander/Kotelnik - Who's staying up?

I was listening to On the grind boxing radio show this week and 5 people on there said Alexander destroys Bradley and Khan....looking forward to this week.

 

What happened in the fight?

Did Kotelnik just cover up when Alexander was throwing and counter with jabs/straight shots?

Reading the ****** room the feeling is split..... some have Alexander winning easily because he threw more, others Kotelnik winning because of a higher connect % and defence.

Oh, and the ''Kotelnik clearly won the fight by a point'' robbery squad!

 

Well, from I really don't rate Khan that highly. It's obvious he took a safety first approach and it was a bad styles matchup for Kotelnik.

I'm not saying Kotelnik ain't a bad matchup for Alexander, but I'm saying Bradley will be :yep

Fair play to Khan though, his stock has certainly risen in my eyes :good

 

only HBO. most the yanks on the general RBR had it Kotelnik very very wide like 118-110 and 117-111

Its a shame cos it takes away the excitement level for Bradley vs Alexander

 

Was it worth watching?

Also, Kotelnik doing well against Alexander doesn't mean Khan will do well against Alexander. But then, Alexander looks decent. I never thought he'd beat Bradley.

 

trust me watch last nights fight you
will fancy Khan big time in that fight. Alexander has one of the poorest defensive games i have seen in a world class american fighter.

Khan and Bradley would stop him

 

People were getting too hyped on Alexander on the back of the Urango win, I'm glad I stayed in the "lets wait and see" camp.

I'd still fancy him against Khan though......just!

 

I'm still undecided about Khan. But it sounds like it was an entertaining fight.

 

hhhmmmm it was OK. Cloud vs Johnson was decent.

Just allot of flaws in Alexander got exposed by an average fighter in Kotelnik. Some would say he did not better than Gavin Rees

 

Fell asleep after the Cloud fight.

Was Kotelnik proper jobbed or was it a close fight?

you could make an argument for Alexander getting a draw....but you could also make an argument for Kotelnik winning 9 rounds.

The rounds that Kotelnik won he won big. The rounds thats Alexander won could of gone either way.

Harold Ledderman of HBO had it 117-112 to Alexander and you could tell Kellerman and Bob Papa were thinking it was crazy but didn't wanna say anything.

i need to see alexander vs kotelnik even tho its just gonna wind me up big style watching it going by all your comments.

 

Kotelniks a much better fighter then the khan fight showed, He had alexander hurt and moments within the fight you thought it could all be over for devon, it was Robbery kotelnik must feel like **** hes been robbed on so many occasions the only time he was decisively beat was against khan
