You Brits Should Be Proud Of Having A Guy Like Amir Khan

Im still a Khan fan.

Personality wise, he is still a young lad and it often shows, but what a great fighter.

 

The response to Khan is a bit lukewarm because everyone knows he could come a cropper in a flash.

 

As a Man i dislike him.
As a Boxer i don't hold him in to high regard. I just don't see anything special other then very fast hands. He's done well to win a Version of World title after the Prescott fight. He's not as exciting as he once was...lost interest in watching him.

It's obvious some of the hatred towards Khan is due to racism but i honestly think a lot of it is caused by him acting like a twat on twitter, calling everyone out then not fighting them and people have had enough of him.

He clearly is very talented but not sure he is particularly well advised on some issues.

I definitely think there's an element of race in it with the CASUAL fans, i've actually heard it myself amongst lads i know who aren't fans of the sport in particular but might watch a big fight if its on. Some who aren't fans of the sport at all and never watch fights i've heard say they hate him because of that alone.

But on here and the HARDCORE fans i know, the people that dont like him have genuine reasons not to, boxing related reasons. I don't think there's a race agenda on these boards at all.

I'm a fan of Amir but every time he opens his mouth i cringe, he needs to **** this twitter bollocks off and focus as these next few years are the most important of his career. When he's achieved something big, then go on twitter and tell the world how good you are.

He does do some stupid **** things and people hate him for other things, but all I was saying is that some of Khan's hate comes from Racism.
