Absolutely no doubt now who is the best at 140lbs

It's interesting that everyone has forgotten how bad Khan's chin was at Lightweight... the guys punch resistance was horrid... until he faces someone with some type of power I don't think he can be accurately fit into the picture. Sure he has skills and looked great against Paulie, but Paulie's power is laughable and he didn't land anyways...

Bradley, although not a puncher, has some power to the very least...at least enough to see where Khans chin is at and his past performances were more so him being weight drained and weak. Regardless he needs to fight someone with some type of power and not complete pillow fist.

 

This has been done to death. Everyone knows that Khan has been blatantly chosing feather fisted opponents, yet everyone seems to be OK with it.

I agree with this mostly but....

Bradley, truth be told, is a **** boxer and has really no power. So not only does Bradley not have the skill to get to Khans chin, he doesnt have the power to shatter it if he did. Bradley would be fighting on a prayer. Bradley does have great stamina and workrate but thats just enough to beat guys like Witter. Maidana would send Khans jaw into the crowd within 4 rounds:fire

 

It's definitely Khan. The only one who really has a chance to beat him for real is Maidana or Ortiz with a lucky shot or lots of good, educated pressure. He will outbox Alexander and Bradley with surprising ease.

Judah isn't ****, he doesnt have the stamina of a championship fighter(if he ever did) and odds are nobody will give him a title shot. He deserves it, the ****ing douchebag.

 

Now he IS a genuine dark horse.

At their best, Hatton and Judah would eat the rest of the division alive.

 

Its clear as day its Khan. Still there are those who lack very basic boxing analysis to figure this out. Oh well, it'll become apparent soon enough.

 

Bradley doesn't have good power, his KO percentage is like 40%, but that is enough to test Khans chin to see if it is as bad as it was. Fighters with horrid punch resistance are in constant danger of getting ko'd, even by guys with the power of Bradley. That being said, I think you are looking pass Bradley's ability a little. I think he gives Khan a difficult fight, but Khan is the more skilled/faster/stronger fighter, but his chin is still a question mark and Bradley will tag him a bit if they fought, imo.

 

I don't think it's clear that anyone is the top man at 140.


Especially when Khan absolutely refuses to step in the ring with a heavy puncher. Until we see that, he is automatically disqualified from the discussion.


You don't get to be the best in your division by having a dreadful chin... and then refusing to fight anyone who just might test it.

 

Khan's chin is underrated. First off Khan was caught by a massive left hook by a massive puncher. Secondly, Im sure Khan's chin has improved either by going up in weight, maturity or just got tougher. Lets not forget, Khan has been taking punches to the head with headgear all this time, now with all the rough sparring he has had in Wildcard, it has probably made his head more receptive towards punchers.

And if he is to be considered the best. This theory of yours is something that must be proven in the ring. He can't duck big punchers and then say "He's been sparring, so his chin is better"

 

His chin IS better. Keep in mind that he was knocked down by fighters that were total non-punchers at British domestic level at 130, let alone 135.

You can't tell me his chin isn't better - it simply couldn't get any worse than it was before :yep

 

There is doubt until they all fight each other.. it's a strong division for sure though:
