Hya Rocky...Ezzard Charles was a great young middleweight who beat Charley Burley twice in 1942...But lest we forget, there was the vastly underated Ken Overlin, who licked Ezzard Charles, and drew with Charles
during that time...Ken Overlin who was then called "a poor man's Harry Greb ",was a great middleweight ,and former champ of the 160lb division.
I would have loved to see Robinson and young Charles ,catchweight at
    that time...Who wins ???

Hiya Burt, hope you are well - its funny I was thinking about Overlin aswell - think Charles wasn't too far off Burley when - Overlin must've been pretty amazing - was it overlin who Conn thought was the best fighter he ever fought?? PS do you know much about Kid Tunero - I guess he must've been pretty special too - so much talent around at that time - and Robby of course - I have trouble imagining anyone beating Robby at Welterweight though?? I guess Greb would maybe have been a severe severe fight for the Sugar Man at Middle aswell
