The context is Khan fighting guys averaging a 37.9% knockout ratio.

Do you not understand the word "improved"?

Khan went from not being able to take arm punches of people like Willie Limond to being able to fight 12 rounds against Kotelnik. Whilst Kotelnik isn't a big puncher, does he hit a lot harder than Limond? Yes. That is improvement.

I'm not saying his chin is good or anything but it has improved.

why not wait for this to happen and then come and post a thread regarding his chin instead of accusing of him ducking fighters after only 23 professional fights. Jeeez

Did Roy Jones Jr. really need to be tagged in this one?

they refuse to acknowledge that. All they want to focus on is his supposed improved Chin when he hasn't fought anyone to prove it and is not planning on fighting anyone to prove it in the near future. The careful handpicking is disgraceful.

Because you dumb ****s keep bombarding us with claims of how Khan is the best overall fighter at 140
    This content is protected
. And if he is, then he shouldn't be blatantly avoiding one type of fighter - those who can punch.

Instead of screaming, why don't you re-read the Original Poster's message - this thread isn't about Khan's fans' claiming that he is the best right now, it is challenging the assertion that his chin has improved at 140.

Also, not to get too nitpicky and cause further embarrassment but just because a fighter has a bad chin doesn't mean they can't become the best in a division. Why? Because the best in a division is defined by whether that person beats all other opponents. Having a bad chin does not guarantee that a fighter will lose a fight. It is merely a disadvantage. So... I don't think you should shout down someone who feels Khan may be the best in the division. Similarly, you can't brandish someone as "blatently avoiding one type of fighter" when that person has only had 3 fights at 140- one of which was a mandatory.

Time will tell. In the meantime, chillax and calm down. You guys are way too emotional.

It's hilarious that they are using the example of him fighting 37.9% knockout ratio type fighters to suggest he has an "improved" chin. It's an absolute embarrassment. Khan's management has these people fooled.

    1. Khan's fans ARE claiming him as the best 140lbs fighter right now, so it is legitimate to question his handpicking of feather fisters.

    2. You're right, it's possible to be the best with a bad chin. Where you stray is the fact that it's not possible to be the best while avoiding a certain type of fighter.

    3. With a chin like Khan's, it's a damn near certainty that he'll get dropped for the count against someone with serious power. Even average power will likely do... but he won't even fight someone with decent power.

He is bar none the most blatantly protected fighter right now. How his fans allow him to get away with this blatant ducking of fighters who can actually.... punch??????:lol::lol:

I'm going to have to break this down for you, huh?

Khan could not take Limond's punches. Limond has a 22% knockout percentage and was a super feather.

Khan did take punches from Kotelnik, who has a knockout percentage of 36% and is a light welter.

Khan was not able to take punches of lighter hitting boxers, but can now take punches off 'solid' punchers at a heavier division. That is improvement.

I realise that the fighters hitting him now aren't knockout artists but it's improvement, regardless. His chin is better than it was.
