He is. He's not a knockout artist but opponents feel his punches, which is the definition of being a solid puncher. He'll stun people and land stiff shots but that's about it.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Oisin ***an had a higher % KO rate than Limmond, and didn't wobble or KD Khan. So by your logic, between the Limmond and ***an fights (both at 135), Khan's chin had improved.

I'd prefer to talk about the people who actually, you know, hit Khan. That's generally essential when you're talking how a boxers reacts when he's hit.

Khan went from being incredibly chinny to what he is now. Very fragile but he's not going to be stunned or wobbled off jabs any more.

I'm not even trying to defend the guys chin. I think it's absolutely awful and I have little doubt that he's a knockout waiting to happen. I've been telling people on ESB since before he turned pro, that he didn't have a chin and I still firmly believe that. I just think it's clear it has improved. Maybe it's him getting old, being more suited to 140lbs, having better conditioning - I don't know, but I can't see how anyone could say it's not improved.

    It's hilarious.

In the same breath: Khan is the best 140lbs fighter in the world, but we should not question his avoiding anyone who can punch because he's only had three fights there.

So: He's the best and deserves a pass for ducking punchers.

    Too comical.

You're using Kotelnik, a guy with 13 stoppages in 36 fights, as an example of Khan's punch resistance improving? You must be joking.

Kotelnik barely landed a puncher either. He did land a right in the 12th that shook Khan a little though.

You're right, he's not a knockout artist. Not only is he not a knockout artist, though, but he's barely managed to get stoppages at all.

On a quick survey of his record, we can see that he has TWO STOPPAGES in his last SEVENTEEN FIGHTS.

So, in Kotelnik's last SEVENTEEN FIGHTS, he has averaged a whopping 11.76% knockout ratio. Incredible stuff. If it was against all quality opposition, that'd be one thing... but it's not.

Check out the post I just made. Startling numbers on Kotelnik's punching power.

For that reason, tragically, we may never see the fight.

He can't crack an egg, obviously.

Go to the start of the 12th round in his fight vs Khan. He lands one of his only right hands in the whole fight and shakes Tomato Khan a little. The kids chin is glass, the end. Saying it has improved is pure speculation.

I've laid out a post showing Prescott is no power puncher either.
