Yeah, the contrast between Adamek fighting at 175 as a 30 year old in Feb 2007 and Adamek today has me scratching my head.

He was still fairly skinny at 200, though much healthier looking. No doubt 175 was a big drain....just yesterday apparently Glen Johnson came into the fight at 192 while having to make 175 a few days earlier....this aspect of the sport baffles me...if GJ is gaining that much weight after the weigh-in then obviously Cruiserweight is his natural weight....why not fight at Cruiser and not expend so much energy slimming down? It might even be reasonable to assert that Adamek was a stronger PFP fighter at 200 then at 175, though I guess he didn't stay at cruiser long enough to prove that.

Now Adamek's pretty beefed out....he actually looked maybe 5 lbs overweight against Arreola (he came in at 217)....he might have been better off at 210 in that fight as he needed to be faster.

Lately his arms look a lot bigger then ever before so 220+ looks possible for this upcoming fight.

Adamek is a real pro, but not in the same class as guys like Hopkins, Toney or Mayweather, when it comes to skill, he does have the heart to fight anyone though but I wouldn't label him as a throwback type fighter that really knows his craft.

Still, Adamek has put on + or - 45 pounds of water and muscle over the last few years.... Now, either Adamek was unhealthy and weak at 175 or he's found his nutrionist who's got him on the right track to health and prosperity.... Adamek looked strong and fit against Arreola last April......

Adamek seems to be lacking the power to put Heavyweights away, granted 2 of his last opponents were young, hard cheened opponents. In my opinion his best weight is Cruiserweight.

Adamek has better technical ability and is far more well rounded than Haye. The only advantage Haye has is handspeed although i doubt that there is as much of a discrepancy as most people think (in general and due to Adamek throwing straight punches) Also this is pretty much a non factor since Haye gasses after 2-3 rounds and basically stops throwing in combinations after that. So no.

He's naturally 200lbs. He's only put on 15-20 lbs which is no big feat for a 30 yr old professional athlete.

At 175 he had to puke a couple of times in order to make weight and that also happened against Dawson....which was his last fight at 175. So, really you can say his natural weight is at 200, but him putting on another 20 or so pounds isn't all that big of a deal considering he is an athlete and also considering when you are at 200+ pounds weight isn't too big of a deal.

I'm still hoping that Michael Grant surprises with something, but I'm concerned about them 35 to 38 yrs he has on him.... Plus, his so-so fight pace he's had since 2003...... Grant has tools, but he jacked off way too hard over the last five yrs or so..... After the KO loss to Dom Guinn, Grant should've taken six months off and found a new trainer and re-dedicated himself with a steady string of "Average" opponents to build himself back up with...... In a way, he's done that, but a little too much jackin' off in the process.... WORD!

If Void could ever bet a set of balls like Adamek, we would see Pac Vs. Void.

Adamek has not chance Vs. either Klitschko, but he would knock Haye out.
