    6-6 Draw

Upon first viewing I thought Alexander deserved the victory. On second viewing, it was a far closer fight then I originally viewed. And I think Alexander squeaked out a draw in the end by digging deep inthe later rounds. I would say Kotelnik only has himself to blame, but even if he had not taken so much of the rounds off and actually pressed Alexander with more power shots, he still wouldnt have gotten the nod given that Alexander won by 4 rounds on the judges scorecards.

I must say, 116-112 is horrific scoring. There is really no way you could give Alexander 8 rounds. I can see 7, but 8 is outrageous.

However, anyone calling this an outright robbery is an idiot and probably a hater of a certain type of fighter. The compubox numbers clearly show how close this fight was.

    Compubox stats.

    Power punches landed

    Alexander - 138

    Kotelnik - 109

    Total punches landed

    Alexander - 202

    Kotelnik - 225

I was laughing at you morons calling it a robbery. I even said I may have been biased in my initial viewing and that it was a close fight.

    :yep Same everyday.

What we cant change is how bad Alexander looked. But someone put up a state that Khan even having the massive height and reach advantage over Kotelnik, struggled to land. Still, Alexander need to shore up that defense or he has no shot against Khan

How / why did you give the 8th to Alexander? It was one of Kotelniks best rounds

    Friggn Compubox warriors.

Lets just forget about watching boxing altogether, it doesnt matter if a fighter is hurt, landed the more telling blows or made any significant damage.

Lets just look at compubox numbers to score a round for us.

Actually I already had my card before the compubox numbers came up. I just looked up round 8.

Infact I scored round 4 for Kotelnik, and compubox had Alexander outlanding him 23-12

So seriously, just shut the **** up you dont know **** about boxing child.

He wasnt beaten, he was exhausted, he threw over 1100 punches. Look at Pacquiaos face and demeanor after throwing a similar number against Clottey

Fights are scored by a round by round basis anyways. Alot of the damage alexander took was in the 10th when he truly got ****d up.

Kotelnik got robbed, and quit trying to justify it. You aint fooling anyone intelligent.

You're far from intelligent clown, so dont speak for those who are. I brought up compubox numbers to show that the fight was close and that it wasnt a robbery ***. If I used compubox to score the fight I wouldnt have scored a number of rounds for Kotelnik and vice versa for Alexander.

Again just step away clown before you hurt yourself.

Haven't seen the bout, but I can make up out of the commotion that my prediction of it going to be a lot closer than anyone expected has come trough. So there's nothing to say yet of how the WW division will play out the coming years.

    Conclusions for the 140lbs division...
    1) Kotelnik is a lot better than what anyone would give him credit for before the bout.
    2) Alexander isn't as good as people thought.
    3) Kotelnik is now on the other end of the 'robbery' (if it is one)... remember Kotelnik vs Maidana.
    4) Khan is probably the best 'boxer' right now, but can't fight big punchers.
    5) Bradley is laughing his *ss off right now.
